I took my friend for a surprise present gift to have an afternoon tea for two. It was an amazing experience. We both enjoyed the delicious food, lovely variety of sandwiches and the deserts, was OUT OF THIS WORLD!! The waitress kept asking us if we want some more drinks or food. I wish I would have more space in my stomach to eat more, Lovely live music to listen. The waiter was a bit slow with serving, we had to wait quite a while for the food to come but it didn't ruin my enjoyment. I have asked him if I can have a piece of my favourite chocolate cake to take it home with me, for my surprise, he did bring me in a lovely box for doggy bag!!
I defiantly will be bringing my husband for our 35th wedding anniversary which it will be in November this year

It was a beautiful afternoon tea, with lovely sandwiches, and a nice selection of artistically designed chocolate desserts, some of which were incredible, however very rich and allot of dark chocolate, which for me I'm not keen on.The service was good quality, Although the atmosphere of the podium restaurant was quite canteen like compared to other afternoon teas I've been to! Overall a lovely experience, but would probably do a normal afternoon tea next time, as Preferred the scons and sandwiches. Whilst I did not have dinner here, on this occasion, other people around us were having 3 course meals, that looked define, so would be happy to come back and try these.

It was very hot in the area.
Felt like it was just tea and sandwiches in a restaurant
