It was lovely, the manager and the member of staff which served were fantastic. The food was excellent, lovely and hot and fresh. I was having a superb evening until I would imagine she must be an in experienced member of staff as whilst I was having a lovely romantic time with my partner. She decided to spoil it by rudely interrupting us and then asking me to put my bag and coat on the floor as I had them on a chair next to me.
I felt this was not necessary as there were many chairs she could have used. Other customers had there belongings on a chair next to them.
Then to make matters worse when I said I didn't wish to put my bag on the floor she was very rude and got annoyed. She then projected this onto the other customers she was with by making a comment and took them to sit somewhere else.
She then marched over to another member of staff throwing her hands in the air and talking about me. I was very upset as it was unnecessary and very unprofessional.
If she were a well trained staff member and customer service driven. She could have handle it differently. And everyone would have been happy. Instead she created an atmosphere and even had the other customers looking over as she made a scene.
Never have I experienced such behaviour.
The management and the other lady are fantastic and have been there a while. I was impressed with the lady serving me as even though the other member of staff was very negative she stayed professional and served me well. I gave her a £4 tip as I was very happy with her, but the other member of staff should be retrained or replaced. I would have given 5 stars for everything if not for this experience
