Five of us sat down to lunch at the "Pinhoe Hoard". The staff were excellent, the food was superb, and there was plenty of it. We had a good time. I will certainly book there again.

There was 5 of us and we all had different dishes, the food was hot and tasty, no complaints there. Our meal was booked for 18.30 and the table was ready the staff were very nice. Two of our guests were 10 minutes late because of traffic, they did eventually come over to see if anyone wanted drinks and eventually came over to take our order, we got served it at 19.50, which is a very longy time to wait? No one came over to us with any explanation, we will give them another chance as the food was good and some of us had been before. I think that they need more staff.

We have dined at the pinhoe hoard a few times in your first year here at Exeter and never had a bad meal, including our booing on the 24th.the four of us had different main dishes and we thoroughly enjoyed them. 1 had Beef Lasagne, another had sirloin steak another had half a chicken with piri-piri sauce which he enjoyed but found the sauce rather hot, even though he was warned it would be by my wife and i had fish and chips with mushy peas, very tasty, even the couple on the next table said the fish looked good,( it was ).The puddings were scrumptious 2 had chocolate melts another had jam roly poly and i had lemon/mandarine sponge and custard,I think from the above you can say we had a nice evening. We had wonderful service from Jamie, he was friendly nothing was too much trouble which makes dining out plesureable.
