Tender rotisserie chicken features high on the Pinhoe Hoard menu, with diners able to customise theirs with flavours including garlic mushroom and Thai sweet chilli. There are spicy rotisserie curries, as well as a burger range with toppings such as brie and chorizo. British classics also feature on the menu, such as beef and ale pie, and there are vegetarian recipes like butternut squash, feta and pomegranate moussaka.
A tempting dessert list at Pinhoe Hoard Exeter offers up favourites like red velvet cheesecake, and there is a full wine list and selection of carefully chosen cask ales from Marston's Brewery.

Good reception at the door. Shown to a choice of two tables. Standard pub food well cooked. Substantial portions.Because I wanted a pudding I had to leave some corn and coleslaw. Excellent service apart from one point. It was a busy Saturday evening and we expected to wait for our order. But it would have been better if we had been informed as to how long the wait would be.As it was we waited some forty minutes.

There was 5 of us and we all had different dishes, the food was hot and tasty, no complaints there. Our meal was booked for 18.30 and the table was ready the staff were very nice. Two of our guests were 10 minutes late because of traffic, they did eventually come over to see if anyone wanted drinks and eventually came over to take our order, we got served it at 19.50, which is a very longy time to wait? No one came over to us with any explanation, we will give them another chance as the food was good and some of us had been before. I think that they need more staff.

Five of us sat down to lunch at the "Pinhoe Hoard". The staff were excellent, the food was superb, and there was plenty of it. We had a good time. I will certainly book there again.
