In the ultra-modern Westfield Stratford City in east London, Ping Pong is an authentic Chinese restaurant and dim sum specialist. Ping Pong’s expert mixologists are always on hand to stoke a lively ambience with freshly-mixed martinis.

Offering a wide range of Asian treats, the sleek Ping Pong restaurants pay homage to the ancient traditions of Chinese tea houses. With a big choice of dumplings and steamed buns, the Ping Pong menu also offers an array of fragrant Chinese soups and rice pots.

There are plenty of familiar Chinese delicacies, with spring rolls, prawn toasts and honey-glazed spare ribs. For dessert, try Ping Pong’s banana and chocolate spring roll or the ice cream filled rice pastry, mochi, and finish with a lively Ping Pong cocktail or soothing Oriental tea.

By the iconic Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park in Stratford, Westfield Shopping Centre sits next to Stratford Station, which straddles Underground, Overground and DLR lines.

    Great food and service

We were greeted instantly, seated in seconds and served within 15 minutes. Fast service, good food and very attentive and friendly staff. We were taken cared of and even commended for our choice of dumpings (*always a good thing to know) I hope to bring family back here as the location is private and the environment calm and I liked it because you did not have the madness that is visible in the world food court.

Great food, lovely restaurant, brilliant deal!

The experience was unfortunately quite poor. Although the meal itself was delicious, I was served a duck spring roll with the vegetarian set menu. Being a strict vegetarian, and having never eaten meat before, I was outraged at the mishap. I had already eaten a spring roll by the time I realised the mistake. The issue was dealt with well by my waitress, and so I did not kick up too much of a fuss. However I am disappointed and disgusted with the error in the first place.
I was given free drinks as compensation, however a service charge was still added to my bill, which is insulting. The only reason I paid was because the restaurant was busy and I did not want to embarrass the waitress.
