Serving up irresistible dim sum by the riverside, Ping Pong Southbank is a vibrant location to enjoy traditional Chinese food. A covered al fresco terrace and the Ping Pong restaurant’s huge windows offer great London views, while upstairs the buzzing cocktail bar has Martinis, coolers and more.

Offering a wide range of Asian treats, the sleek Ping Pong restaurants pay homage to the ancient traditions of Chinese tea houses. With a big choice of dumplings and steamed buns, the Ping Pong menu also offers an array of fragrant Chinese soups and rice pots.

There are plenty of familiar Chinese delicacies, with spring rolls, prawn toasts and honey-glazed spare ribs. Finish with a lively Ping Pong cocktail or soothing Oriental tea.

Right by the Southbank Centre and close to Tate Modern, Ping Pong Southbank restaurant enjoys a stunning location by the Thames. Ping Pong Southbank is a 4-minute walk from London Waterloo Train Station.

Really nice dinner. I really love the spring rolls here. The main thing is that it is always crowded and maybe it is a little noisy.

Food was excellent, good choice, and nicely served. The only slight quibble was that there was a delay between the dishes brought out, which meant one of our party had to start eating earlier. Cocktails absolutely superb. Nice ambience - it was quiet, which was lovely. No loud music, which is a bonus. Very friendly service.

Great food, although table quite cramped for 2 adults and Dim Sum. Would be great to not always be sat straight next to others if there is space, just feels less cramped also. Please consider non alocolic beer as an option

service a little slow but food excellent

The food was lovely although the quantity of food is a little misleading. Having not been there before our waitress told us to order 4-5 dishes each. The menu describes the dishes as dumpling not dumplings so we presumed each dish was one large dumpling. However, each dish was 3 dumplings and we ordered 10 dishes. As we soon realised that we didn't need 30 dumplings we cancelled some of the order which upset our waitress. She stated everyone knows the standard portion size is 3 dumplings... we didn't!

Dinining in Ping Pong is always a great experience. Food is tasty and I love the variety as decent prices. As for Ping Pong in Watersloo I would like to give special thanks to Sylvia who was serving us and making our experience even more pleasant.
