Serving up irresistible dim sum by the riverside, Ping Pong Southbank is a vibrant location to enjoy traditional Chinese food. A covered al fresco terrace and the Ping Pong restaurant’s huge windows offer great London views, while upstairs the buzzing cocktail bar has Martinis, coolers and more.

Offering a wide range of Asian treats, the sleek Ping Pong restaurants pay homage to the ancient traditions of Chinese tea houses. With a big choice of dumplings and steamed buns, the Ping Pong menu also offers an array of fragrant Chinese soups and rice pots.

There are plenty of familiar Chinese delicacies, with spring rolls, prawn toasts and honey-glazed spare ribs. For dessert, try Ping Pong’s banana and chocolate spring roll or the ice cream filled rice pastry, mochi, and finish with a lively Ping Pong cocktail or soothing Oriental tea.

Right by the Southbank Centre and close to Tate Modern, Ping Pong Southbank restaurant enjoys a stunning location by the Thames. Ping Pong Southbank is a 4-minute walk from London Waterloo Train Station.

Visited in a group of 7 this time - all already big fans of Ping Pong so we all had high expectations. And we weren't disappointed! The London Restaurant Festival menu was excellent - good selection and superb value. We also took advantage of the £5 happy hour cocktails. The wait staff were friendly, efficient and very accommodating - two of our party were running late but we let the staff know as soon as we found out. Even more of a fan after this last visit and can't recommend Ping Pong highly enough!

Its unusual to find such good service in some franchises. Ping pong staff was great. They have accommodated our requests with kindness and professionals.
Set menus are a very good choice when you are tired and just can't decide what to have for dinner...

I had booked a table of 15 for my graduation celebration I had booked this more than a month in advance so the restaurant and staff were well aware of our booking. To be perfectly honest I will never eat here again. Staff service was slow and poor, between small plates of food guests and myself had to wait between 20-30mins thinking we would eat dishes together our other food was cold and we ended up cancelling most food. I actually went home hungry as I just ate a position of ribs. There was no effort to make my experience special and there was no staff that made attention to detail. Even if it was just for lunch I have no desire to dine here again and I think I can also speak for my 14 guests!!

The food was amazing as always - just a pity they didn't have any decaf coffee!!

The food was excellent , especially the sticky honey ribs.....but overall we had no problem with the food, the waitress was very accommodating and explained how the system worked.
The downfall was the food came in dribs and drabs so felt like we were eating all at different times shame it couldn't have been brought out in closer succession

Food was good as I expected but customer service wasn't great at all. Felt like we were just left. We had to constantly find a waiter every time we needed something.
