For authentic Chinese cuisine in the city, Ping Pong Soho is dim sum heaven a stone’s throw from Oxford Street, London. Lamp-lit dark wood tables sweep through the funky interior, with the Ping Pong cocktail bar mixologists always on hand with a Martini or two.
Offering a wide range of Asian treats, the sleek Ping Pong restaurants pay homage to the ancient traditions of Chinese tea houses. With a big choice of dumplings and steamed buns, the Ping Pong menu also offers an array of fragrant Chinese soups and rice pots.
There are plenty of familiar Chinese delicacies, with spring rolls, prawn toasts and honey-glazed spare ribs. For dessert, try Ping Pong’s banana and chocolate spring roll or the ice cream filled rice pastry, mochi, and finish with a lively Ping Pong cocktail or soothing Oriental tea.
Menus are regularly updated with new, seasonal specials. Close to trendy Carnaby Street, Ping Pong Soho is a 4-minute walk from Oxford Circus Tube Station.

Very enjoyable food and good value for the 3 courses and cocktail at £15.95. The food on the normal menu also seemed to be very popular judging by the popularity of the restaurant. The Ping Pong cocktail was also very pleasant. The atmosphere was very loud and buzzy, with it being full. Not the best place to have an intimate conversation, but great for a meal before going out razzling.

Been here before and ordered the exact same food it was so tasty.
Great place to go with friends and great menu.
Service was friendly, could be a bit faster with drinks at the start.

We arrived on time at the restaurant and the table was not ready, we had to wait for 25 minutes to be seated. A bit too long for having a reservation in advance.
We were seated at a circular table for 8 people when we were 6, and conversation was a bit tricky, but since it was a Saturday we understand the circumstances of it being a busy night.
Even though, we had a lovely meal, food was delicious.
We really enjoyed the Char Siu buns (I think they are called) and also the Beef Gyoza.
We would recommend this restaurant although we felt disappointed by that waiting time.

We booked a table for 21:00, arrived at 21:00 and had to wait 12 mins for our table. We didn't appreciate to wait. This is the purpose of booking a table: not to wait.
Apart from that, the food was delicious and the service was perfect. In conclusion, I would recommend this restaurant to a friend. But please be cautious on the bookings.
