Pieds Nus pop-up restaurant has now closed for business, but you can still visit its sister restaurant, Pied a Terre.

A sister restaurant of Michelin-starred Pied a Terre, Pieds Nus offers simple, elegant European cuisine. Translating as 'bare foot', Pieds Nus takes the culinary flair of the renowned Pied restaurant group back to basics.

An authentic, gimmick-free pop-up restaurant, Pieds Nus offers an informal dining experience with a focus on flavoursome, sharable food. Open for 6 months until 22nd March 2014, Pied’s newest addition is headed by returning acclaimed chef, Ed Dutton.

Flavour is central at Pieds Nus, leading to lovingly-prepared dishes like the 65-degree, 48-hour-braised short rib with potato and shallot. The varied sharing menu also preserves the fresh tastes of raw flavours, exemplified in a standout scallop ceviche with fennel and cucumber, while complementing cocktails include the cleansing watermelon martini.

Found close by to its sister restaurants in the heart of Marylebone, the arty, paint-splattered shop front of Pieds Nus and its up-cycled interior is a vibrant alternative for gourmet dining in central London.

A bit disappointed with the food; started well with good bread but the third plate had elements of the previous two as well as the wrong wine accompaniment. You expect a little make- do with a pop- up but as a taster it has put me off going to its parent restaurant.
