Sister of the Bib Gourmand-winning Fitzrovia site, Picture Marylebone is a charming neighbourhood restaurant found moments from the well-heeled high street. This independent opening comes from trio Tom, Alan and Colin, who spent many years working together in Michelin-starred restaurants.

Showcasing forward-thinking dishes that focus on excellent value for money, the Picture menu changes daily, and flavours are dictated by the best available ingredients. Options might include young chicken with mushrooms and kale, or charred cauliflower with sea purslane, peas and shallots. Experimental flair is used to conjure like desserts like almond cake with apricot and frozen lemon-thyme yoghurt.

The drinks list at Picture in Marylebone is similarly creative, with cherry-picked international wines served alongside speciality gins and house cocktails. Local area-inspired cocktails include the Lady Cavendish with red berry tea gin, elderflower & cava, or the Highgate negroni with gin & spiced vermouth.

Found on New Cavendish Street, Picture restaurant in London is a 9-minute walk from Bond Street Tube Station.

I booked dinner for my husbands birthday, we had a 4 course deal through bookatable which included a peach bellini, meat bites and 4 small courses. Bellini was good, game bites were very tasty, cod was our favourite dish, chocolate mousse was lovely too. Staff was nice, polite and attentive. They also remembered to make our day special by lighting a small candle on my husband's dessert which was very special.
Overall our experience was great, just had a bit of trouble with the location of the restaurant as they have 2 branches at about 15 minutes walk, we went to the wrong one by mistake, and we were told to go to the other one, when we went there it was very nice and they recieved the call from the previous place that we are on our way and will be a few minutes late, which tells us they care for their customers.
    Will definitely go back ??

It was great! Lovely tasting menu, all the courses were delicious and the restaurant was lovely. We were there to celebrate my step-dad's 60th birthday and Tom made it really special for us. Thank you!

From the time we entered the restaurant I knew I had made the right choice, members of staff relaxed though professional, shown to our table and offered a bellini whilst discussing the menu. I had booked the 6 course tasting menu for myself and a colleague, every dish was of a very high standard, well presented and tasteful throughout. Whilst the portions did not look over large we were completely satisfied after the final course. A great idea on a Monday to allow customers to bring their own wine without charging corkage to allow the wine waiter to asses people's current taste in wines. On the of chance I met the Head Chef and discussed the meal and as I had been a Catering Lecturer for 30 years how impressed I was with everything. The kitchen was immaculate - well done to all the staff! Will return in the near future..

    Good experience
The portion were a bit on the small side, I am aware it was a tasting menu.
Cocktails were a bit on the mean side

The food was amazing! The staff was polite, not much of an atmosphere though so it's bit boring.

I have tried Picture Fitzrovia before. Wanted to try Marylebone this time. Food was equally delicious. The 6 course menu is so good, well thought and designed. Not just tasty but also looks beautiful. Picture also always impresses with the Michelin style service. All 5 stars.

simply superb, 6-courses were all presented in lovely way. A great addition to the already high-standard of Marylebone's restaurants.
