In a stylish setting, Piccolino Chester sits next to the popular Grosvenor Shopping Centre. As well as the chic, spacious bar area, a bustling open kitchen allows diners to view the chefs at work.

With a vibrant and contemporary atmosphere, Piccolino restaurant evokes the charm of traditional Italian dining. Bringing the finest quality seasonal ingredients to the high street, Piccolino offers tasty, hand-prepared dishes. The varied Piccolino menu offers Italian favourites as well as new, ambitious combinations, like roast pumpkin, pancetta and gorgonzola risotto, or a platter loaded with fresh, tasty antipasti.

An exciting canapés menu offers intense tasting flavours, ideal for sampling with a glass from the extensive, well-selected wine list at Piccolino, or an option from the international beer selection. Piccolino takes pride in its range of classically decadent desserts, like dark chocolate and amaretto mousse, or creamy panna cotta with mulled plums and orange.

With a sleek, intimate interior and a lively ambience, Piccolino Chester is perched just 5 minutes’ walk from the scenic Grosvenor Park.

staff lovely and friendly. We were seated straight away and had to wait a little while for our meal to come but the restaurant was very busy so it was understandable. Everyone enjoyed their food but mine could have been hotter it was tepid and a small side salad along with the steak may have made it look more presentable but steak was good.

In short this place is very nice but they could put more fish/meat into their dishes. My Wife had the lasagne which was mostly pasta and cheese and I had a spaghetti seafood dish which contained two prawns, about four pieces of squid and around 6/7 mussels but loads of spaghetti! Just not enough sorry.

A fantastic meal. Food was wonderful and the service was excellent. My husband had the braised lamb with root vegetables and I had the meatballs. Both meals were delicious. Best of all was the passion fruit cheesecake which was mouth watering. A lovely evening overall.

Table was booked for 19.15. Got there slightly late at 19.25. Had to get the attention of a waiter to order. Got our starter fairly quickly. We where still sitting there 2 hour's later waiting for our main meal 21.15. So in all, my experience here was aweful. Won't be returning.
