I visited the restaurant with 4 friends and we all thoroughly enjoyed the experience. We were left in peace to order and eat our meal at our pace which meant that we had plenty of time to catch up on our news. My friends are all meat eaters and had plenty of food with separate dishes of potatoes and other vegetables to accompany their main meal. However, as a vegetarian I ordered the ravioli and was very surprised at the size of my meal which consisted of just a few pieces of ravioli! My friends were quite shocked and kindly invited me to help myself to their plates of potatoes and vegetables without which I would have remained hungry!

The waiter was so great with us being vegetarian and told the chef to be careful when preparing our dishes which we really appreciated.

we had a table of 6 booked in for 8 o clock on Saturday night, the restaurant and bar were stunning, and the Staff were very polite upon arrival. After ordering our drinks we then ordered our food. After our starters arrived I was extremely disappointed to taste the crab bruschetta, as it was black on the bottom side and left a horrid taste. Clearly burnt bread shouldn't be served? After the waiter started to clear the table it was mentioned why this crab bruschetta wasn't eaten, informed the waiter it tasted burnt and clearly the chef had tried to hide it as it was upside down. The waiter seemed to shrug his shoulders and say 'I'll let the kitchen know'. Soon after our main courses arrived, everyone was very happy with there meals, except the lamb rigatoni I ordered. The flavour was wonderful, the presentation was good, but half way through my meal I found penne pasta mixed in with the rigatoni. This instantly made me feel like all pastas are just being thrown into a basket to cook and no care was taken when cooking my dish. So this unfortunately left me hungry as I felt like I couldn't eat it. The waiter once again started to clear the table and I pointed to my pasta clearly stating the difference between the rigatoni and the penne on my plate, and the waiter did the same again, shrugged his shoulders and mentioned he would tell the chef. Time went on and after receiving our £597 bill for the 6 of us, we did mention again about the bruschetta being burnt, and my pasta being mixed with other types of pasta, we then had our bill cut down to £590. my honest opinion I thought this was rude and inconsiderate as this was a special occasion for us all, which actually left a horrible taste from the from the first meal, down to waiters being ignorant of a problem regarding the food. As it was getting late and I didn't want to cause a fuss, I paid the bill and left rather unhappy. I had heard great feedback from piccolinos but this has not been great unfortunately.

    Very pleasant welcome. Tasty food.

However, we ordered for our 4 mains, not particularly taxing dishes for the kitchen (2 pasta dishes, and 2 salad based dishes with cold meats), and it took over 1 hour. I had to ask the waitress if they were actually coming. The starters were nothing more laborious than 1 flat cheese bread and a mozarella and tomatoe, those took at least 20 mins to come and then we had to wait another 45 mins at least for the rest. The staff at least could have kept us informed but I felt ignored.
