From the founders of popular Viet Eat in Holborn, Pho & Bun Soho serves up authentic Vietnamese street food in the heart of the theatre district.

Unsurprisingly, the Pho & Bun menu is led by traditional pho noodle soup and steamed burger buns. The pho is simmered overnight to create a healthy and flavoursome broth that is packed with herbs and spices. Freshly made in house, the steamed buns are filled with 28-day-aged beef patties and a signature smoky mayonnaise. Elsewhere on the menu find dishes like barbecue honey pork with vermicelli or crispy crab spring rolls.

Finish with the likes of caramel flan with Vietnamese iced coffee, or pandan and coconut panna cotta. Pho & Bun on Shaftesbury Avenue is also home to a selection of wines, Vietnamese beer and fresh juice.

A relaxed, contemporary restaurant dotted with Vietnamese features, find Pho & Bun London a short walk from both Leicester Square and Piccadilly Circus Tube stations.

Booked for Mother's Day, had the 4 course star deal. Pho Soup very good- a rare thing. Also the vietnamese spring roll was very good, though you only get 1. The fried battered squid in salt and pepper was also very tasty. Disappointed with the bbq honey glazed pork with noodles, but would come back for the beef noodle soup- though expensive per bowl, probably worth it. Also a little cramped in terms of seating.

Lost my booking and huffed at me when I showed the email confirmation, complaining there were other reservations
One starter - 3 cold pieces of calamari second starter -Wrong starter given and response was a shrug after calling waitress over twice
    Main was cold and bland

Tasty food though the fresh mint and basil came out a little too wilted and brown to be appetising. The chicken in the lemongrass chicken and mushroom claypot rice was very moist ad tender. I would order that again.

The restaurant is small, tight on space and noisy, pretty similar to an authentic Vietnamese you would find in Hanoi! The service was generally ok, a little slow at times. Starters were tasty, pho was satisfying and the wine was good. The 'burger', which I had been excited about trying, was rather a let down. It was gristly, over cooked beef and the bun disintegrated. There are far better Vietnamese restaurants in the area and I would recommend these over Pho and Bun.

Fantastico!!!!
