From the founders of popular Viet Eat in Holborn, Pho & Bun Soho serves up authentic Vietnamese street food in the heart of the theatre district.

Unsurprisingly, the Pho & Bun menu is led by traditional pho noodle soup and steamed burger buns. The pho is simmered overnight to create a healthy and flavoursome broth that is packed with herbs and spices. Freshly made in house, the steamed buns are filled with 28-day-aged beef patties and a signature smoky mayonnaise. Elsewhere on the menu find dishes like barbecue honey pork with vermicelli or crispy crab spring rolls.

Finish with the likes of caramel flan with Vietnamese iced coffee, or pandan and coconut panna cotta. Pho & Bun on Shaftesbury Avenue is also home to a selection of wines, Vietnamese beer and fresh juice.

A relaxed, contemporary restaurant dotted with Vietnamese features, find Pho & Bun London a short walk from both Leicester Square and Piccadilly Circus Tube stations.

This was an absolute gem of a restaurant - great staff, really tasty food & cocktails all at a super blue price- FABULOUS

Food was okay and missing the freshness (the crispy squid I had lacked any seasoning and was soggy at best) and flair (not much taste in the pho broth) that good Vietnamese food offers.

The staff was great. My partner went for the bun challenge but couldn't finish it within the time- was a good entertainment value. Only thing that wasn't too great was the BBQ pork belly was to fatty. Would be ideal if there is option of just standard BBQ pork slices.

A little disorganised as it was very busy with few staff working but they were lovely and polite and apologised for any delays. The food was lovely and fresh and I'm told very authentic.
Vietnamese coffee wonderful and pudding with coconut snow a delight

Very hard to judge a restaurant when you go during the Xmas Festivity period as there are unusually large groups which can be more difficult to manage from a service point of view. Overall the level of service we got was superb but we did have several people around us who were totally ignored and one who just left after 15 minutes of being seated as no one had come back to her!!! The food was overall good but the starters were far more interesting then either the Pho or the Bhao mains. Liked the ambience but doubt we will return as there are so many restaurants in London to choose from and I have had much better Vietnamese food elsewhere
