Found within a London hotel that dates back as far as 1836, Petrichor at The Cavendish London serves contemporary British cuisine and a great value pre-theatre menu. Overlooking the exclusive boutiques and galleries of Jermyn Street, St. James's and Piccadilly, Petrichor is found on the 1st floor of the Cavendish London hotel.

Championing a commitment to serving premium ingredients, Petrichor London sources from local farmers and producers to create monthly-changing menus of delicious modern British cuisine. Rich, autumnal flavours for dessert include panettone bread & butter pudding with drambuie custard, or mulled wine-poached pear with cinnamon mascarpone. An accomplished wine list at Petrichor Green Park showcases fine vintages, alongside an exclusive selection from the Chapel Down winery in Kent.

Service wasn't great. Sandwiches a little dry and stale. Lovely cakes!

Really enjoyable and unique afternoon tea. We enjoyed the Duke and Duchess cocktails to start with which we thought was a very clever idea. There was a good selection of savouries, which were delicious. These were followed by a lovely selection of cakes presented in a sewing basket reflecting the fact that we were in an area famous for tailor, which was a lovely twist.
The staff were attentive and it was a very relaxed and enjoyable afternoon. I would definitely recommend.

very disappointing. Was expecting much more for the money, Only 3 small sandwiches some of which had been made well in advance so the bread had dried out. The service was very slow.

Our afternoon tea was very good and the food was delicious. It's different from ordinary afternoon tea as it served other savoury such as warm tarts and mini toasted rather than only sandwiches. The cakes and scones were lovely too.
The service was attentive and the ambience was relaxed and not stuffy given the location. My only gripe is that I prefer tea with tea leave not in tea bag. After all it's a formal afternoon tea

Really enjoyed our afternoon tea! I liked the different take on the savoury items, like ham and cheese toasties. It was nice to be able to choose between a cocktail or a glass of champagne! Plus it was a 241 offer!!! What more could you ask for?

Fabulous afternoon tea with a good range of sandwiches and cakes, warm scones and lovely macaroons. Relaxed atmosphere with friendly and efficient service. Staff were helpful and accommodated our allergy needs effectively. Presentation of tea was awesome! Worth advising a glass of champagne - very good value!
