We had afternoon tea which was nice. The sandwiches were very fresh. The outstanding feature was the loveliness of the staff.

Richmond Hill Hotel holds dear memories so it's always a joy to go back. The staff were friendly and we were celebrating a birthday, so they brought out extra cakes and sung happy birthday.

Food was great and the hotel is in a charming location.

We were the only ones in the restaurant which was a little surprising. We couldn't finish our food so the staff gave us some take away boxes.

The only down side about our experience was there were flies - in the end we had to move out of the restaurant and enjoyed the sunshine outside.

Afternoon tea - the service was excellent as it has always been on this and previous visits. The beautiful china and lovely fresh food as well as the pleasant setting makes Richmond Hill Hotel our family favourite for afternoon tea. I recommend it to all of my friends and cannot wait for my next visit.

The food was good but the service was really lacking. It was very disorganised and took 1hr and 20mins before we had all received our tea, after speaking to 3 different people. It was all a bit of a comedy of errors really.

Very tasty, good service, brilliant gluten free option. Thanks for the refills of tea and sandwiches, it was a nice touch.

Excellent food and drinks selection for mother's day! The service however seemed very disorganised despite the number of staff available- we had to ask to see the menu after not being given it at our table and later ask why our dessert hadn't be served after sitting around waiting. The food made up for these mistakes though! Some of the best profiteroles I've ever had!

I had a lovely afternoon tea with my Mum and sisters. The staff were so friendly and welcoming. Rachid and Thomas were very professional and helpful.

We had to wait quite a while for our orders to be taken and had to ask the waitress for milk, and later cream and jam, to be brought but at the same time, we didn't feel rushed in any way at the other end despite being the last ones in the dining room. In all it was really enjoyable. The cakes we couldn't manage were boxed up beautifully for us to take home.
