Unfortunately when we arrived at the Richmond Hill hotel they did not know we had booked so had to set up a table for us. They also had no knowledge that one of our party has a citrus allergy.

the hotel were very accommodating and were able to honour the booking and cater for the allergy.

The afternoon tea was delicious but there were a lot of fruit flies about which somewhat distracted from the event

Staff very pleasant, my husband enjoyed his three courses but being a vegetarian there was not enough alternative to meet and fish just one rice and one pasta choice could be more

Wonderful experience. Staff were attentive and friendly. Good selection of Tea. The scones were warm and very light. We couldn't manage to eat all the cakes, but we were offered a beautiful cake box to take them home in. Thank you to everyone for making our wedding anniversary a very special occasion.

We arrived a little late but Thomas without hesitation, rearranged everything for us. Thank you Thomas. Our afternoon tea consisted of delicious sandwiches and cakes prepared by the excellent chef and served by Rosalyn who attended promptly to our every request at the table. Thank you Rosalyn. The chef also sent an extra Birthday treat for my husband, with a chocolate written birthday wish on a plate accompanied by 2 lovely extra cakes. Thank you chef for this and for the delicious tea overall. In all we had a very enjoyable experience at The Richmond Hill Hotel.

We will never go here again. It is filthy. The window sill by our table was covered in dead lies. The curtains were appallingly dirty covered in spilt food and drink and they draped over our table and we had to keep moving the table away from them. We left half the food as we simply wanted to get out of there. Food less than average. Tea leaves with no tea strainers. All in all quite disgusting.

Food was good but service was terrible. We asked to move outside because the weather was good. Upon our request the waitress appeared annoyed. We then moved outside, they set the wrong table, the table we were sat at was filthy and didn't get cleaned. When the afternoon tea turned up they didn't provide tea spoons. We ordered champagne and the waitress placed the champagne bucket down and walked off. We had to open the champagne ourselves and then at the end no one came over to check on us. I had to walk inside and get the waitress so she could provide the bill. Absolutely terrible
