Lovely environment, excellent staff, wide choice of teas. Couldn't eat it all and no one batted an eyelid when I skied for a doggy bag.

I previously spent New Years Eve in the Caledonian Hotel. It is a beautiful hotel with the most amazing, friendly, helpful staff who made our stay more enjoyable.

My sister and her 2 friends were visiting Edinburgh for the first time (sisters birthday) on a day trip. I surprised them booking high tea at The Caledonian. I stated in my booking that it was mys sisters birthday. The staff provided a cake with a candle and the ladies said they had a fantastic time and the staff couldn't do enough to make sure they had an amazing experience. The food was top class and overall they said they each had a wonderful time. Thank you so much for making their day so enjoyable and memorable. X

There was an excellent selection of teas. The selection of savouries and sweets was delightful. Staff were very attentive and it was a lovely treat. A Little bit on the pricey side overall, but equal to other hotels of the same standing. Background music .

We went for Afternoon Tea, it was lovely very relaxed, nothing was to much trouble, we stayed 3 hours instead of the 2 hours as the table was not needed, we would definitely go again.
