Very disappointed at the afternoon tea..... especially the sandwichs I no you get finger one but to be honest my grandsons fingers were bigger then the ones we had on Saturday!!!!! The only thing I really enjoyed was the scones so in my opinion it was a waste of money and as I booked it as part of our anniversary weekend very disappointed!!!!!!

Not overly impressed with the initial service. We had a table booked for afternoon tea, we were then pointed in the direction of an unprepared table where we sat for 10 minutes before being asked what we wanted, we had not been given any menus or options of drinks in this time.
Also our booking was specifically for afternoon tea- yet waitress had no idea this is what we were here for and resumed to give us menus with nothing to do with the afternoon tea.
On leaving we weren't acknowledged with a thank you or goodbye.
The food and the drinks were very nice and would rate that highly. We were just really disappointed with the experience.

got turned away 15 mins before our booking, and told to come back on time? however in front of us they let a party of 2 and a party of 4 sit down who hadn't booked. needless to say we didn't go back!!!

Whilst the table was waiting for us, the service was slow, food of poor quality and special dietary requests ignored. This was not the dining experience I was expecting.... very disappointing.

Occasional slow service, but overall very clean and pleasant. The food was lovely, but we were not given enough cutlery

Afternoon Tea for 2 in Feasegate. Service was excellent. Food was ok. I know it is a personal issue but I would have preferred to have had considerably more savoury content and less sweet. More and bigger sandwiches, cut down on scones and cakes. I would treat this as a meal and not just a minor snack in between lunch and dinner and at the price I feel most customers would feel the same. Enjoyed the ability to switch from tea to coffee. The food we had was fine but not wonderful. The sandwiches were really too small to be seriously enjoyable.
