Good service. Quite friendly. Could have offered another tea/coffee a little earlier instead of waiting until we had finished.

Terrible! Booked for three people only brought out enough for two and even that wasn't as the menu stated. When I questioned it I was told that it was the last day of the group on deal so they were busy! I was not having a group on deal I was paying full price. I insisted they brought out more which eventually they did but they cut the cakes and tarts in HALF!
Completely ruined my daughters graduation treat!! Staff after the manager came back tried to apologise but it was too late. I have never had such a bad experience anywhere before!!
They gave us a complementary high tea to use on another time but it doesn't make up for the day. Doubtful I'll go back I'll give the voucher to someone else!!!

Afternoon Tea For Four: Very disappointing..table much too small for 4 people having afternoon tea, no room for two cake stands, cups and saucers, four teapots and four plates..ridiculous!! It was a constant juggling act to eat anything without knocking something off the table...Positioned at the back of the restaurant in front of the toilets and next to the tray that dirty, used crockery was constantly being ' chucked" into…very noisy. No atmosphere, cold and sad tired decor. Not at all pleasant. Will not be returning to a Patisserie Valerie for afternoon tea again. Definitely not a luxury and would not recommend especially as so many beautiful places now offer afternoon tea.
