Very good cream tea liked the fact cream in bowl not plastic tub. Thought quiches nice idea and good choice of cakes. Only 2 problems one was had to ask for hot water for tea twice and it wasn't made clear I had had to have group on code even though I had booked requesting offer .Therefore I had to pay full price.

We had booked a table for 17.00 but actually arrived at 16.30. That was not a problem and we shown to a table straight away. Very Pleasant atmosphere and staff were very attentive. My wife had Peppermint tea and I had ordinary tea and we were both offered a second pot. There was a good selection of sandwiches and cakes and the whole tea was good value for money.

The staff were very friendly. I had afternoon tea for one which was amazing. Plenty on the plates. My husband had a chicken salad and again the portions were very good

It was Sunday and the restaurant was very busy. Our table was waiting for us, the staff were attentive and friendly. Our tea came very quickly but there was quite a wait for the food. Not sure if this is normal procedure or the delay was due to how busy it was.The afternoon tea was really delicious. A very good selection, warm mini quiche and scones and the cake selection was exceptional. We also came away with a "bonus" box of macaroons.
