Would visit again. Moist sandwiches light scones and cakes. Tea needed to be stronger.

The staff were unwelcoming bordering on rude, clearly everything was too much trouble despite adding the fact one of the party was vegetarian to the booking this hadn't been noted and caused problems and much muttering behind the counter although there were vegetarian sandwiches on the tray. The macaron gift box which wasn't a box was handed over in away that suggested we should be finishing and departing there was only one packet although as I booked two afternoon teas at a total cost of £50 I would have thought one per tea would have been more like it. I have been to the shop in Bath and had a good experience so booked this for a birthday treat for my daughter and wish I hadn't.

Salisbury is a lovely city & we sat outside facing the market place. The food was excellent & the waiter was friendly & helpful (& deserving of a tip). Unfortunately for him; he was rushed off his feet as PV was noticeably understaffed & those that were there didn't stop but there were delays for which The Waiter was v apologetic . And this on a BH w/e in a touristy city. Also the staff seemed unaware of the deal until I showed the booking to the waiter. Is this poor communication on behalf of the company?
Absolutely no criticism of the staff intended.
