Restaurant was very busy and 2 waitresses were running around trying to serve everyone as quickly as possible, apolologising several times for delay! Afternoon tea arrived which looked delicious with a selection of jams and tea. So much to eat a doggy bag was needed to take the remaining cakes home for supper.

The staff were incompetent. They only served 1 persons portion of afternoons tea for 3 people despite complaining they never resolved the issue. To top this off they even had the cheek to charge us £25 for privilege.

    Avoid at all costs.

We reserved a table for afternoon tea which is recommended as the establishment gets very busy, especially at 14:00 when we booked. We were shown to our table and asked what we'd like to drink immediately. Our drinks arrived first, followed shortly by our afternoon tea which was absolutely delicious and very filling. Perhaps a little expensive even using an internet deal, but as a treat every now and then, we were happy to pay.

A good selection of finger sandwiches and as you would expect lots of little cakes which were delicious. Our teapot was topped up 3 times. Excellent value.
