When I booked I requested no fish in the sandwiches and got some. I have a nut allergy and we got cake with walnuts on so making requests on booking was a waste of time ,food good ,service not so good abrupt staff .i had to ask for a coffee and felt it was to much trouble my daughter didn't like to ask for more tea .the cake selection was good though.

we had a afternoon tea booked at the patisserie valerie ,we was greeted and shown to our table, our water came and took our drink order, then they brought our afternoon tea over, well it was very nice,we could not eat all our food so they put what was left in a box to take home, we had an assortment of finger sandwiches, then scones with jam and fresh cream and then on the top plate was a lovely assortment of cakes and more drinks,it was a lovely afternoon tea,and i would definatly recormmend, and also the staff are helpful and freindly

Overall I was very disappointed, being my youngest daughters first afternoon tea, from the onset the venue was not what I expected, the tables weren't laid up, you could sit where you wanted and the regular tea was not on due to only doing a Christmas one now. The food itself was not anything to right home about and on a time scale of our booking being at 4 we were finished by 4.30. So it was a lot of money for not a lot. On the up side the staff were very nice. However I would not return

Excellent, Afternoon Tea was perfect. All the sandwiches were lovely, scones were warm and light and cakes were moist and tasty and refill of tea as you needed - will definitely be going again. Staff very friendly and efficient

We had an afternoon tea which was delightful. Cakes where gorgeous and plenty of them. Yes was excellent with unlimited top up. Overall good and drink presentation was goody. Disappointed that we were asked about vouchers on arrival which apparently are available but sadly we didn't have one so paid full price. Also I had sent a message it wasn't daughters birthday treat but no acknowledgement of this. Staff very noisy upstairs (not sure what was upstairs) didn't see any customers going up or down the stairs only staff.
