Booked for afternoon tea. Lovely choice - sandwiches, mini quiche, plain & fruit scones with jam & cream and a selection of mini cakes all served with tea or coffee. Nothing too much trouble, could not fault anything.

The food was fresh but there was not enough cream to have with 4 scones. The waitress was friendly and polite.

I booked a cream tea at Patisserie Valerie as a treat to end a week's holiday. The first thing I noticed was the very warm welcome we received on entering we were very quickly seated and didn't have to wait long for our tea. Everything on the cake stand looked inviting and carefully prepared. The sandwiches were very tasty and the scones still warm. There was s good variety of cakes which were all delicious. It was mid afternoon and there were a few customers at other tables and the atmosphere was very nice. The restaurant was very clean and tidy as we're the staff. The experience was very enjoyable and I would definitely recommend it.

The afternoon tea was delicious. The staff were welcoming, helpful and friendly. I do feel that the fruit juice we had was extremely expensive. (£3 for a glass of orange juice when you can buy a litre carton for £1.)
