The afternoon tea was very good, however the resturant envionment was too hot, there did not seem to be any air conditioning.

After an hour of punting we were pretty hungry when we arrived. We were immediately seated & served a nice selection of fresh sandwiches & cakes. Staff were very good & attentive. I feel the seating in this cafe is a little formal , more comfortable sofas would be more welcoming but that is just a personal choice. A lovely touch at the end was that the 4 of us were given a lovely bag of macaroons each as a thank you for our booking. Very enjoyable!

Booked for a cream tea , it was very busy so I felt we did not get quite the sevies we should have done . The sandwiches was ok but could have been more of them , the scone where nice but very small the vanilla sponge did not have much taste but the other cakes which was small and only one off was ok I would like to have more tea but as I say the service was hit and miss as it was very bissey which was a shame . I make cakes my self and was looking forward to have some taste cake but not as good as I would like it was ok but will not go to one of these, patisserie Valerie again

Good place to eat, staff were a bit disorganised though.

Arrived at 12 noon as planned, glad we did as the staff did not have a table reserved for our booking, we were shown to a choice of a few spare tables lucky that one was in a great position. They had not had our booking received as they had to apologise for having to make some. Sandwiches up with no butter as per our booking request. Apart from that disappointment it was great, food, hot drinks and service was excellent. My wife was very pleased and macaroon gifts. At the end.

We were pretty disappointed to be honest. The place was really tatty and the food was just average. They didn't know anything about the macaroon gift box and were very reluctant to supply it. Certainly wouldn't go back.

Food good and well presented. Excellent service and delicious macaroons to take away. Very enjoyable afternoon tea, thank you.
