Set in the award-winning Park Inn Manchester Victoria, RBG @ Park Inn by Radisson serves simple British and Mediterranean food. A glossy bar serves stylish cocktails, and a lengthy list of world beers.

Offering a wonderfully diverse selection, the Park Inn restaurant menu serves time-honoured house favourites, a range of signature gourmet burgers, and refined European dishes. To start, succulent tiger prawn skewers are served dripping with garlic butter, whilst mains include red wine-braised beef shoulder. Handmade in house, freshly-pressed burgers include chilli beef, or sweet potato and feta.

The RBG Manchester dessert menu offers a creative selection, with favourites including peanut butter cheesecake lathered with toffee sauce. A lengthy children’s menu is sure to please the little ones, and kids eat for free from the children's menu on Sunday. With a contemporary terrace and beer garden, al fresco dining is also an enticing option.

A cool, minimalist dining room features stony grey walls, clean lines, and bold orange and lime-green furnishings. Manchester Victoria Rail Station is 8 minutes’ walk away.

Pre-booked a table prior to attending a show at the Arena. Had to ask for a menu as the restaurant was busy - surprised that the full menu was not available as per that in the hotel room. Very limited choice and one dish had sold out even at 6pm. Food was hot and service was good but would describe it as fast bar food only. Standard and presentation was average but plain and simple which was reflected in the price, but chose to eat here to keep things simple due to proximity to the Arena. Prawn cocktail had very little sauce making the prawns dry. Scampi ok served with oven chips. There was very little atmosphere as everyone seemed in a rush to get their meal eaten to get to the Arena. Plenty of staff on duty but they were rushing around to meet people's needs. Booked room only so cannot comment on the breakfast.

The food was satisfactory for the price charged, the service and length of time between courses were poor. With staff only concentrating on certain tables and not all tables in their area.
I had to go to our waitress to advise her that although our pots of tea arrived we had been waiting over 15 minutes for our sweets we asked for them to be brought together we did receive a discount for the time we waited but had to query a tray charge of £5 that was on our original bill and amended bill.
We were delighted to see you offer breakfast up to 11am but when we went down at 10am there was a minimum 20 minute wait and we were asked to go to our room and they would call us, as the service was so slow the night before we decided just to leave even though we had paid for breakfast this was even more frustrating when I noticed six empty tables just needing cleared as we left the hotel.
I feel you need to employ more waiting staff and also the resturaunt
Could do with being bigger for when the hotel is full as it cant cope with really busy periods.

Lovely waiting staff and the food was nice.Ideal location for Manchester Arena. However we did have a bit of a wait for our pre-concert dinner.. so allow plenty of time! Note:they do a good deal on starter, main and wine for £35 for two on selected courses.

Staff were friendly and efficient but were unable to serve dessert as it was getting close to closing time. The food was excellent and the Kiddie Meals were finished off by both accompanying Young Miss Finicky-Eaters (one eight and one six-year-old). Additionally, we were pleasantly surprised to find that the Little Misses ate for free since we were staying at the hotel.

Mmm, where to start ! Four of us came for pre-concert meal. The room wasn't really warm, the food took AGES to arrive and when it did, one meal was cold ( not lukewarm--cold). The 2 waitresses were extremely helpful and apologetic, took the meal back and admittedly came with a completely fresh plateful, not reheated BUT it took around 20 mins to appear, by which time the others of us had finished eating !! We then ordered dessert----another wait of around 20 mins. One of the choices was cold instead of warm and the stawberries in another, still had stalks and leaves on and the shortbread was missing (we requested that and it came later ) but we didn't have time to wait any more, so ploughed on. We were offered ( and accepted) a substantial reduction in the bill. IN SUMMARY------------ whoever was in charge of the kitchen needs a complete rollicking, there were 4 separate issues with the food order alone, never mind the ridiculous waiting time for each course ( and replacement one ) to arrive. By comparison, the two waitresses were wonderful and obliging and it was very unfair that they had to be the front line for the many failings of whoever was behind the scenes. The room was far from full and we couldn't imagine how it would have been if it had been busy. We were four mature ladies on a night out and able to accept the situation but can well imagine that had we been guests on a special occasion, this experience would have totally ruined it.

Would I recommend ? The quality of the food was very good, the service front of house was very good and on those I would compliment but overall--no !

Good service. Childrens chicken with lemon yoghurt was served without the yoghurt, menu suggests that there should have been a sauce with it. When asked, the waitress said it was probably grilled in the flavour but my daughter says otherwise. Childrens icecream on menu says you can choose your own sprinkles and sauce, no choice given as regards sprinkles and no sauce given at all. Both served with mini marshmallows which one of my daughters doesnt like. The menu doesnt mention marshmallows. It would be great if more restaurants served more diet soft drinks, one of my daughters is diabetic and diet coke gets very boring in every place we go to. Not to mention that its a bad choice of drink for a child anyway. Diabetics have to drink sugar free drinks.
