Located on the Strand, just down the road from bustling Covent Garden, Paradiso e Inferno is a family-run Italian restaurant.

Set up by the Mortali family in 1966, this friendly restaurant is a great choice for a pre or post theatre meal, business lunch, get together with friends or family, or simply as somewhere to rest your weary feet after exploring the Covent Garden area.

The light and airy upstairs dining area is fitted with traditional furnishings, whereas downstairs has a more intimate feel with cosy booths and subdued lighting.

As you would expect from one of the most popular Italian restaurants near Covent Garden, the menu offers many classics such as spaghetti with garlic, chilli & olive oil, stuffed cannelloni and mushroom risotto. The range of desserts (sometimes on display as you come in the door) are completely mouthwatering. Don't miss the fantastic tiramisu for dessert!

I absolutely love this place. I first stumbled across it by chance when trying to find a restaurant near Covent Garden, but now I never go anywhere else when I'm in the area. The food is great and all homemade and it's great value for money. The atmosphere is great too - I love all things Italian and this restaurant just makes me feel like I'm back in Italy. Try to get a table downstairs if you can. It's a bit more intimate down there, but upstairs is fine too. I go to A LOT of Italian restaurants, but I still haven't found one that I like more than Paradiso e Inferno.
