Never eaten here before. On arrival shown promptly to table - drinks and appetisers arrival really quickly, which was great as we had concert tickets (and thus had been booked specifically as pre-concert meal) Orders then taken, again starters came out promptly and was delicious. We were very impressed with service and food at this point.
Unfortunately we then waited 50 mins for our main course. After 30 mins we enquirer were our food was. Apologies were given but still had to wait a further 20 mins. We ordered our desserts half way through quickly eating our mains to ensure they arrived with enough time for us to eat it and get to concert on time. So it all felt a little rushed then. Although food tastes really nice we were literally throwing it down and so not really enjoying the experience at this point. We had a little uninvited guest in our beer- once pointed out the drink was changed promptly. Just a shame it was all rushed from the delay in providing main meal. When we got the bill was still expensive considering we had pre-concert 'meal-deal'(2 courses for starter and main) came to £89 between 2 of us! £25 of this was for drinks- we only had 2 drinks each, 1 wine and 1 beer. We had a cocktail each too but as we were rushing by time they came out didn't get to finish them. I would go back as the food was really nice and would like to hope this experience was a one off. If it happens again however- well I will let you know with a review.

Absolute joke, my girlfriend got a fillet steak an the gent never asked how she wanted it, it came well done. She then got another one and asked for medium again it came out black. When I got the bill they added another 3 drinks on to our bill that we didn't have, overall really poor service. Very disappointed

The restaurant looks fantastic, we ate on the first floor overlooking the down stairs bar and dining are with views in to the docks. The customer service was first class, all staff were very polite and attentive despite it being really busy. The food was good and represented good value, the surprise was the drinks, these were very reasonable and amongst the cheapest we had over our weekend in Liverpool. We have already arranged to come back but next time we will have a group of friends with us and will bring them to this great place.

This restaurants service was terrible I ended up having to go downstairs to the bar to get a drink. Too few staff and clearly under trained with little care. The food was ok but nothing amazing. The simple fact is they were totally disorganised and very very slow. The upstairs bar looked like a bomb had hit it and basically customers seemed a bit of a nusainse to them.

The beer was flat. The wine was one grade above vinager. The food to about 40 mins to arrive and this was only following me chasing it up with the waitress who seemed to have forgotten we existed. When the food arrived the steak was mainly fat and the fish was just about cooked. Overall all over priced and under par experience. I've given 1 star as it won't let me give zero.
