Star of the show as the lemon curd. Wow! Great to have the champagne which was topped up regularly. The harpist was a pleasant addition to the atmosphere. Staff were attentive and friendly but not intrusive in any way.

Was OK. But, although lovely, the service was a bit slow and the sandwiches were a bit dry. Being honest I don't think I will go back as I was not impressed.

The service was exceptional. The Harpist wonderful. The decor we prefered from the last time we visited! Deco style lost if we are being honest, especially the bar area.
The sandwiches were nice, the scones delicious and cakes lovely.
Overall, we had a fab time - the service from Maria (spanish) was second to none. Please pass this on - she is an asset to the establishment.
Still the best afternoon tea in London x

It was a lovely experience that I warmly recommend. The atmosphere of this hotel is great (I recommend getting lost in the luxurious corridors when you try looking for the restroom). The tea, scones and sandwiches were everything you can expect from an afternoon tea.

Amazing experience. We came to London for my wife's birthday and this was a special treat for us. The service from our waitress Maria was excellent and the food was simply divine. We could not pick fault with the food (not that we were trying to) we finished everything and even had seconds. We had free flow bubbles which was unlimited champagne for the duration of our afternoon tea which my wife enjoyed a lot and got a bit tipsy. I would come back to the Sheraton again and would reccommend it to anyone.

An emotional experiance since the visit had two purposes. 1. To celebrate my wifes 60:th birthday. 2. To revisit the hotel where my father died from a heart atac in his hotel room in oktober 16, 1979. We are very pleased with our afternoon tea and were very well attended to by the italien waiter, I think his name was Daniel or Daniele. Loved the music from woman playing the harp.

I've been out for afternoon tea at many different locations and I have to say yesterday's experience was the best so far. My husband and I spent 2.5 hours in the most relaxed and unhurried environment. The staff were attentive, polite, friendly and efficient. Being less 'stuffy' than other London hotels, and less crowded, you were made to feel special. The food was sublime; we had the festive birdcage menu and had two rounds of sandwiches (greedy I know, but they were SO good). The free-flowing Chapeldown sparkling wine was a very worthwhile and tasty addition and the gentle background music of the harp was beautiful. I enjoyed the experience so much that we will return next New Years Eve for my birthday afternoon tea. Many thanks to the staff, especially Maria and the lovely Irish Maitre D. You're all doing a great job.

What a lovely afternoon. The staff were so lovely, our waiter Paulo was amazing. Refills of sandwichs available on request. Could have kept a bit more on top of topping up the champagne. I would Definitely recommend for the money you pay. Great day :)
