    It was fantastic

We've been regularly visiting the Palm Court for the afternoon tea during the past 4 years. It used to enchant us a lot but I may say, with regret, that this might have been our last visit. The food is lovely, the tea options are quite good and the general ambience very pleasant - even though the service may have seen better days. Thus it may have turned into a pricey offering considering other options one can enjoy in London.

We had afternoon tea - it was perfect - quite the experience.

The Langham is like walking into the thirties with it's ethereal ambience. The food was beautiful as it was delicious and the champagne in the offer was exquisite. I would definitely recommend it just for the experience.

The Tea and Scones were lovely. BUT the sandwhichs were stale and tasted as if though they had been sat in the fridge all day and the chocolate bread with Salmon was awful. The cakes looked amazing but just tasted sugar and cheep bubblegum flavours. I was also dispointed in my Jam it was cheep and nasty no freshness about it. For [$] pound a head I was deeply disapointed as I don't even serve stale frigde bread in my house. Bread should be fluffy and soft not ice cold with crusty edges. They make a wonderful tea and scone but I would not return and will be having tea at the Ritz or Claridges as these venues cannot be faulted.

We had booked afternoon tea for 5.30, but staff were happy to change us to 3.15 on request. The service was attentive without being obsequious and the food was exceptional. Highly recommended as a special treat (though mobiles should be banned!)

I could not fault anything. I was with a friend and colleague and we were able to discuss work without being overheard. The ambieance was very relaxing. After the business part we were able to sir and to chat uninterrupted. Music was just right
