Lovely room, so relaxing and the harpist playing in the background just adds to the ambience of the experience. Fabulous

All food was nice and well presented. Lovely room with a harpist playing whilst eating. Excellent service which was not overboard but allowed the food to be eaten at s leisurely pace. Tea or coffee replenished as required. An excellent experience. Third time we have been to The Balmoral.

I don't think it was worth the money , very nicely presented and the food was tasty
I had a 6 year old with me and it would of been nice if there was a children menu
The staff were very polite and smart

Disappointing - as pensioners this was a special treat. The staff, although very nice, raced through their, obviously rehearsed, list of items to be served not making allowances for older ears. We hadn't a clue what we were eating until it was in our mouths (no harm done though). Tea was not served until we were at the scone stage and I was desperate for a drink by then. I had tried to get the attention of staff, 3 times, to ask for the tea to be served but gave up as they were too busy to notice. There was delay between each course. Our 2-hour table allocation was up before the sweet trolley came round and we didn't take the small ice cream that was offered at the end as we were well aware that we were out of time. The thing which really annoyed me though was I specifically booked this because my friend, whose birthday this was, was a classical music fan and I thought she would love the live harp music. This ended not long after we arrived - what more an I say apart from so disappointed in the whole experience.

    Absolutely wonderful!!
From arrival at the hotel we were transferred into a whole new world of high class service & surroundings. Excellent staff were very attentive and the hotel was a feast for the eyes.
The Palm court room was light , airy , well positioned and laid out. We were seated immediately in what can only be described as plush surroundings and the treat began. The afternoon tea was delicious and every attention to detail taken care of. Our personal wants and needs were catered for above and beyond what was expected and everyone there was having a wonderful experience.
Thank you Palm court - it was a real pleasure!
