Just a really good experience from start to finish. Amazing service and the afternoon tea was delicious. There wasn't a single course that we didn't thoroughly enjoy.

Myself and my mother dined at the Palm Court for Afternoon Tea and overall the experience was very good. The atmosphere was lovely and the service provided was of top quality. The setting of the Palm Court was really relaxed and we felt really well looked after and by no means rushed. The afternoon tea consisted of about 4 elements, an amuse bouche, tea/coffee (unlimited), savouries, scones and cakes & a sweet trolley to finish. I would rate the presentation of the food as excellent and the quality of the food as good. I have definitely had some nicer food at an afternoon tea for a less expensive price. The savoury elements were lovely but some of the cakes were a little dry. Anything that you could not finish was packaged up nicely and given to you upon leaving along with a tin of Balmoral Tea Leaves which was a nice touch. Overall I would recommend the Balmoral for afternoon tea. Although I was not blown away by the food, it was nice but the experience and ambiance at the Balmoral makes it well worth the visit.
