Afternoon tea was wonderful, food just kept coming, stuff where out of this world, couldn't do enough for you, and very pleasant, and charming. My mum and myself felf like royalty. Will be back. Well done chef, and staff.

Treated my friend or her 50th bday. Both have a gluten intolerance but the varied food we received did not disappoint. Well worth the money and Palm Court itself was beautiful. Definatly recommend.

We enjoyed the afternoon tea , the service excellent, very friendly staff and an impressive room. the small gifts to take home were a thoughtful itouch. We also took three cakes which we shall have at lunchtime today. We will definitely be back!!! Thank you .

Afternoon tea is an absolute delight here - the surroundings are amazing and the ambiance just right. Food is delicious with an excellent choice of teas. The harpist is just the "icing on the cake". There is no better "afternoon tea" location for me??

While staying at the Balmoral we decided to have afternoon tea at Palm Court. The food was delicious, staff friendly and immaculately attired and the ambience was superb. However the experience was marred by the overwhelming number of guests who chose to wear denim jeans, tee shirts and trainers, despite the 'smart casual' dress code required. In order to maintain standards, and to compete with the many excellent establishments now offering quality afternoon tea, the Balmoral should insist upon adherence to dress code, out of respect for the beautiful surroundings and the hotel's illustrious history.
