I had booked a meal for my husband's 50th birthday. We have eaten there before and it was really lovely, as I remembered from previously. Very busy, really good atmosphere.
There was a jazz singer that added to the evening. Our waiter, Jerome, was very attentive too.

Perched high on the 8th floor of OXO Tower on London’s South Bank, OXO Tower Brasserie affords sensational views across London and the Thames from its 250-foot terrace and dining area. The informal setting has an infectious buzz, with live music from an extensive line-up of jazz musicians adding an extra dimension to the experience.

With a state-of-the-art open-plan kitchen, head chef Keir Barry serves up modern British dishes with bold flavours. Enjoy grilled spring chicken served with pepper gorgonzola butter, or roasted cod with caramelised onion chorizo chutney and padron pepper butter beans. Many meat dishes are cooked over charcoal on the josper grill, creating a rich BBQ flavour that is perfect for al fresco dining.

An excellent cocktail list accompanies the menu, and unique to the Brasserie, ‘Not Afternoon Tea’ is a must-try experience for those who enjoy a sweet treat with a difference. A selection of exotic desserts includes apricot frangipane, thyme pannacotta, and green tea cake.

Offering incredible views, and live music every evening and on weekend lunchtimes, OXO Tower Brasserie in London sits 8 minutes’ walk from Southwark Tube Station.

Lovely lunch experience in the brasserie. The management were very accommodating to my online request and located us by the main window with a river view. The food was excellent and beautifully presented. The service was warm and friendly. Great location for a lunch especially for more informal occasions.

Fabulous cocktails and stunning view. Slightly cramped in the bar area unless there is a table available. Great food and music, although acoustics are terrible. Music can only be heard if you are seated next to musicians and then conversation is difficult.

I came for lunch on a Saturday afternoon. Thought it was busy, the staff were so attentive - my glass of wine was always full. The food was absolutely delicious and it was quite reasonably priced. The views were obviously amazing and we even had a drink on the balcony after we finished our meal, I'm looking forward to coming again.

Great location/views and ambiance; pleasant and attentive staff. Excellent food and wine passable.
Overall, an enjoyable experience which I would be happy to pay a return visit.

Average - the food was ok and the survive (while friendly) was slow. The settings / venue outshone the food... I wouldn't go back any time soon

Service was fabulous from changing the booking twice to having your coat taken on arrival and the table service was above and beyond plates we're put In front of the correct person without anyone asking who was having what. The food was very enjoyable and the atmosphere was upbeat as there was a small piece band singing. Not somewhere to go if your looking for somewhere cheap but then the overall experience of the oxo tower isn't your normal restaurant.
