The view and the atmosphere makes it a really special experience. Loved the scallops and the starters. Plus the live music.

Perched high on the 8th floor of OXO Tower on London’s South Bank, OXO Tower Brasserie affords sensational views across London and the Thames from its 250-foot terrace and dining area. The informal setting has an infectious buzz, with live music from an extensive line-up of jazz musicians adding an extra dimension to the experience.
Head Chef Keir Barry has created a modern Brasserie menu with simple, fresh and comforting dishes which champion the best local and seasonal produce on offer. Tuck into mains such as tender Welsh lamb rump with truffle mash or roasted cod with a cuttlefish and butterbean stew. Many meat dishes are cooked over charcoal on the Josper grill, creating a rich barbecue flavour that is perfect for al fresco dining in the summer.
Just a stone’s throw from some of London’s most popular theatres, OXO Tower Brasserie also caters for those looking for a quick meal before or after the show with its pre and post theatre dining menu or for something more leisurely, book in and enjoy a relaxed brunch at the weekend with choices from devilled kidneys to a full English breakfast. An excellent cocktail list accompanies the menu, and unique to the Brasserie, ‘Not Afternoon Tea’ is a must-try experience for those who enjoy a sweet treat with a difference. A selection of exotic desserts includes apricot frangipane, thyme pannacotta, and green tea cake.
OXO Tower Brasserie in London is just 8 minutes’ walk from Southwark and Waterloo and 10 minutes’ walk from Blackfriars Tube station.

Food, waiters recommendations, drinks, were excellent. Looked after fantastically well by all staff, very accomodating. Made the day and sat on a perfect table in the sun all afternoon. Highly recommend the restaurant!!

This restaurant has lovely views over the Thames, and is easily accessible. We went for Not Afternoon Tea - a quirky take on traditional fayre which comprises a choice of a selected cocktail and a plate of small, but wonderfully luxurious, rich desserts. Since my last visit the desserts have increased from 3 to 4, but I felt the 3 was sufficient for the middle of the afternoon.

Lovely venue with great views. Food excellent and staff really friendly and attentive. One of the staff members even ran down and flagged us a cab - very impressed with that!.

A large bright room with fabulous views if you can get a table bear the windows. Staff were extremely attentive without being too smarmy and great soft live jazz playing in the background. Good brasserie food well presented and overall a great lunch treat.

Great service great food, the only thing that let the oxo down was the woman in reception, she needs customer service training

The service was not great there, very slow we had to keep asking for our drinks had to also ask to order! Our mash was cold and cheese to ages to come out but in fairness they took that of our bill!

The Oxo Tower brasserie is a marvellous place for a meal. Not only is the view across London stunning, but the dining experience is superb.
Staff are friendly and attentive without being intrusive and offered their favourite suggestions from the sumptuous menu. The live music was an added bonus, but 'background' so we didn't have to shout our conversation.
For our starter we had crab mac & cheese, grilled cuttlefish and asparagus with slices duck breast - all presented beautifully with excellent delicate flavours. The chorizo with the cuttlefish was especially good.
Main courses were scallops with broad beans, suckling pig and a marvellous rib eye steak - all cooked to perfection. No nouveau cuisine here: arrive hungry, especially as the side dishes are huge and plenty big enough to share.
If you have room, desserts are decadent and delicious. We all slipped into a sugar-induced period of meditative introspection afterwards, which face us time to take in the view over to St Paul's cathedral and the general bustle out on the Thames. Fabulous.
