Perched high on the 8th floor of OXO Tower on London’s South Bank, OXO Tower Brasserie affords sensational views across London and the Thames from its 250-foot terrace and dining area. The informal setting has an infectious buzz, with live music from an extensive line-up of jazz musicians adding an extra dimension to the experience.
Head Chef Keir Barry has created a modern Brasserie menu with simple, fresh and comforting dishes which champion the best local and seasonal produce on offer. Tuck into mains such as tender Welsh lamb rump with artichokes, or sea bass with brown shrimps, spring greens and samphire. Many meat dishes are cooked over charcoal on the Josper grill, creating a rich barbecue flavour that is perfect for al fresco dining in the summer.
Just a stone’s throw from some of London’s most popular theatres, OXO Tower Brasserie also caters for those looking for a quick meal before or after the show with its pre and post theatre dining menu. An excellent cocktail list accompanies the menu, and unique to the Brasserie, ‘Not Afternoon Tea’ is a must-try experience for those who enjoy a sweet treat with a difference. A selection of delicious desserts includes lemon verbena jelly with cherry compote, bay leaf parfait, and mint and blackcurrant mousse.
OXO Tower Brasserie in London is just 8 minutes’ walk from Southwark and Waterloo and 10 minutes’ walk from Blackfriars Tube station.

Went with my wife to celebrate her birthday. This was a special treat and we want disappointed. The staff couldn't have been more helpful and always smiling. The food mirrored the brasserie's excellent reputation. We had the set menu for £30 pounds each and we felt it really good money for value considering the quality of the food, the excellent views of London and the friendliness of the staff. The pork wrapped in pancetta was a delight. When I confirmed our reservation online I mentioned it was my wife's birthday, when her desert arrived it had a birthday message in chocolate sauce and a candle - a really nice touch. Would go again and happily recommend.

It was our first visit and we were treated in a really 'special' way. We arrived just before 12.00 and were escorted to what was described as 'the best table in the house'. It was a lovely table, in the corner with a fab view over the Thames. Our waiter was most attentive and the timings were perfect for us. The food was pricey, but we knew that in advance. It was beautifully presented and of excellent quality and decent sized portions. Even my husband (who doesn't 'do' fancy food) was happy. My only criticism would be that the Gluten Free bread was very disappointing. There is a huge range of excellent GF breads out there now and I do suggest that you source something more in keeping with the rest of your food offering. For someone with Coeliac disease (my daughter) it can be quite alienating when part of your meal is below parr. Also, to fry the chips in oil that is also GF so that she could have had the chips. On another more positive note though, the chef mad her a special portion of the Mushroom starter that was GF, which was very much appreciated. We also enjoyed the live music, which added to the 'special' atmosphere without being loud.
