The staff were really friendly and went that extra mile. I liked the mix of smart casual feel and Brasserie had a good ambiance. Plus the "birthday" dessert, given without prior arrangement!

Perched high on the 8th floor of OXO Tower on London’s South Bank, OXO Tower Brasserie affords sensational views across London and the Thames from its 250-foot terrace and dining area. The informal setting has an infectious buzz, with live music from an extensive line-up of jazz musicians adding an extra dimension to the experience.

With a state-of-the-art open-plan kitchen, head chef Keir Barry serves up modern British dishes with bold flavours. Enjoy grilled spring chicken served with pepper gorgonzola butter, or roasted cod with caramelised onion chorizo chutney and padron pepper butter beans. Many meat dishes are cooked over charcoal on the josper grill, creating a rich BBQ flavour that is perfect for al fresco dining.

An excellent cocktail list accompanies the menu, and unique to the Brasserie, ‘Not Afternoon Tea’ is a must-try experience for those who enjoy a sweet treat with a difference. A selection of exotic desserts includes apricot frangipane, thyme pannacotta, and green tea cake.

Offering incredible views, and live music every evening and on weekend lunchtimes, OXO Tower Brasserie in London sits 8 minutes’ walk from Southwark Tube Station.

Service was very good. We enjoyed a table inside but with a nice view over the Thames. Food is good but nothing really special. The prices are quite high for a brasserie but you get a fantastic view and nice drinks.

Great location with views to match and excellent food and service was pitched at just the right level. Although we had a timed slot of 2 hours there was no sense of being rushed. Will visit again.

A really lovely lunch thank you so much

The service was fast, friendly and efficient. The Bucatini pasta was exceptional - and I'm not usually inclined to order vegetarian. For dessert, the Panacotta was divine. All rounded out with a glass of the house Sauvignon Blanc and. Singapore Sling. The only slight disappointment was the view - which was adequate but not iconic. Would definitely return for the food and service however!

Requested a table by the window but we were escorted to a table as far away from a view as possible without any explanation from door staff. Nevertheless our waiter was very good and when I asked him if we could move he was great and found us the perfect table on the terrace after about 20 minutes. From then on the evening was lovely, food was good rather than exceptional and a tad luke warm rather than hot but we enjoyed ourselves and would return.

I arranged the brasserie for drinks for someone's birthday and despite us being late they accommodated us with a terraced table with a spectacular view. Lovely service.

Dined with family visiting from Canada. A great expereince for everyone. A stunning view, a buzzy atmosphere, it's casual yet sophisticated, attentive service - and food was excellent. Expensive - but worth it. Downsides are menu is quite limited, and even on a Sunday evening, tables needs to be vacated after 2 hours.

Great location for a summer lunch or dinner. Food was excellent, and the outside balcony was the best thing.
