Lovely food, great view, friendly and helpful staff. The early evening menu deal was great with good choices.

Perched high on the 8th floor of OXO Tower on London’s South Bank, OXO Tower Brasserie affords sensational views across London and the Thames from its 250-foot terrace and dining area. The informal setting has an infectious buzz, with live music from an extensive line-up of jazz musicians adding an extra dimension to the experience.
Head Chef Keir Barry has created a modern Brasserie menu with simple, fresh and comforting dishes which champion the best local and seasonal produce on offer. Tuck into mains such as tender Welsh lamb rump with truffle mash or roasted cod with a cuttlefish and butterbean stew. Many meat dishes are cooked over charcoal on the Josper grill, creating a rich barbecue flavour that is perfect for al fresco dining in the summer.
Just a stone’s throw from some of London’s most popular theatres, OXO Tower Brasserie also caters for those looking for a quick meal before or after the show with its pre and post theatre dining menu or for something more leisurely, book in and enjoy a relaxed brunch at the weekend with choices from devilled kidneys to a full English breakfast. An excellent cocktail list accompanies the menu, and unique to the Brasserie, ‘Not Afternoon Tea’ is a must-try experience for those who enjoy a sweet treat with a difference. A selection of exotic desserts includes apricot frangipane, thyme pannacotta, and green tea cake.
OXO Tower Brasserie in London is just 8 minutes’ walk from Southwark and Waterloo and 10 minutes’ walk from Blackfriars Tube station.

Overall very good food, thought there could have been some fancy bread or croutons served with the soup. Staff very good from booking , right through to dessert. Nice touch of Happy Birthday and candle with dessert for my sons birthday, very expensive, but worth it for a special treat.

It was very nice, from the greeting in reception to the end. We had a lovely table by the window with an astonishing view over the river. It got only more beautiful as the night came down. Service was good, you always had someone around as you need them. Food was delicious, nice sized portions, very tasty. We loved everything! The Jazz from 7.30 was just classic ending of the eve in the city.

We had the Winter Menu. I had the Braised Oxtail with Pearl Barley followed by duck leg with lentils. On the side we had chips and broccoli. For dessert I had sticky toffee pudding with clotted cream. It was all delicious. The oxtail was particularly good. The sticky toffee pudding was as light as air and vanished in too short a time. Service was good, attentive but not too much. We had not been to the OXO Brasserie before and would definitely go again.

Fantastic evening at the brasserie at Oxo tower. Excellent friendly service and food was delicious. Had a window table too! We had an extra £30 for wine, water, service and tea but as it was otherwise perfect I didn't mind fir such a perfect location! And yes lived music too!

Food excellent. Service first class and very helpful as we had mini water disaster with a vase of flowers in bag.
Loved the crab starter, and the rhubarb and ginger cheesecake was fabulous. Bollinger Cuvée spéciale a real treat.
Really enjoyed the sights and the atmosphere. We'll come again and more often for less decadent treats!
