Lovely food, great view, friendly and helpful staff. The early evening menu deal was great with good choices.

Perched high on the 8th floor of OXO Tower on London’s South Bank, OXO Tower Brasserie affords sensational views across London and the Thames from its 250-foot terrace and dining area. The informal setting has an infectious buzz, with live music from an extensive line-up of jazz musicians adding an extra dimension to the experience.
Head Chef Keir Barry has created a modern Brasserie menu with simple, fresh and comforting dishes which champion the best local and seasonal produce on offer. Tuck into mains such as tender Welsh lamb rump with truffle mash or roasted cod with a cuttlefish and butterbean stew. Many meat dishes are cooked over charcoal on the Josper grill, creating a rich barbecue flavour that is perfect for al fresco dining in the summer.
Just a stone’s throw from some of London’s most popular theatres, OXO Tower Brasserie also caters for those looking for a quick meal before or after the show with its pre and post theatre dining menu or for something more leisurely, book in and enjoy a relaxed brunch at the weekend with choices from devilled kidneys to a full English breakfast. An excellent cocktail list accompanies the menu, and unique to the Brasserie, ‘Not Afternoon Tea’ is a must-try experience for those who enjoy a sweet treat with a difference. A selection of exotic desserts includes apricot frangipane, thyme pannacotta, and green tea cake.
OXO Tower Brasserie in London is just 8 minutes’ walk from Southwark and Waterloo and 10 minutes’ walk from Blackfriars Tube station.

IT WAS A VERY NICE EVENING

Well looked after by friendly table staff. They were very considerate of our needs (including one member who has little hearing). My fish wasn't cooked (£16.00 for a raw fish and chips!) but they made it a priority to re-do my meal as fast as possible. Temperature of the venue was just right when it was a difficult day weather-wise to get it right. We all drank sparkling water but there was no sense that we were the less welcome for not buying alcohol.

Excellent experience. I am dairy intolerant and the chef's catered for me and adapted the meal for me. Made alternative suggestions. Brilliant. I really enjoyed it. Staff were very attentive, polite and I would definitely go back. The views from the restaurant were lovely.

Lovely experience. The staff were friendly, attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. This was booked for my husband's birthday celebration and they made a special effort to write a personal message from me on his dessert plate. The food was delicious and perfectly cooked. We were not rushed and enjoyed 3-courses and wine and were very please that they managed to find us a window seat at the last moment. The food is priced well enough for us - we did not go looking for a cheap dining experience but found 3-courses (from the a la cart) and wine coming to just over £100 (incl service) an acceptable price for the quality. There was live music and a singer on the evening we attended - not overpowering and added to the atmosphere. The tables are fairly close together but this didn't bother us (but would not be so romantic if you are not seated right by the window).
