Perched high on the 8th floor of OXO Tower on London’s South Bank, OXO Tower Brasserie affords sensational views across London and the Thames from its 250-foot terrace and dining area. The informal setting has an infectious buzz, with live music from an extensive line-up of jazz musicians adding an extra dimension to the experience.

With a state-of-the-art open-plan kitchen, head chef Keir Barry serves up modern British dishes with bold flavours. Enjoy grilled spring chicken served with pepper gorgonzola butter, or roasted cod with caramelised onion chorizo chutney and padron pepper butter beans. Many meat dishes are cooked over charcoal on the josper grill, creating a rich BBQ flavour that is perfect for al fresco dining.

An excellent cocktail list accompanies the menu, and unique to the Brasserie, ‘Not Afternoon Tea’ is a must-try experience for those who enjoy a sweet treat with a difference. A selection of exotic desserts includes apricot frangipane, thyme pannacotta, and green tea cake.

Offering incredible views, and live music every evening and on weekend lunchtimes, OXO Tower Brasserie in London sits 8 minutes’ walk from Southwark Tube Station.

The booking service was easy to use but there was no option to book a window seat and that would certainly be an advantage.
We arrived 15 minutes early and were shown to a seat in the bar area and waited on very promptly.
Our table, booked for 8.30, was not ready so were not seated until nearlyy 9.00 but despite the 30 minute wait we enjoyed the live music playing in the background.
When we were seated, the table we had was only a couple of meters from the window so we were able to enjoy yhe view.
The food was excelllent as were the array of drinks and the service was excellent - polite, friendly and very courteous.
After our meal we were shown to the outside viewing area so we could enjoy the view before returning to the bar for our last cocktail of the evening.
Every member of staff we saw or spoke to our passed was polite and friendly and when we exited the lift we were shown to their own private taxi rank for our taxi ride back to our hotel (and the rate was only a few pounds more than a black cab).
All in all, an excellent night and we would happily come again.

Great food, portions a little small for not afternoon tea - more like a selection of cakes but still good value. Loved the Alice in Wonderland theming and the design of the cocktails. The lunches coming out of the kitchen also looked delicious and beautifully presented. Waiting staff were great, helped us to mark our celebrations by writing 'congratulations' on my cousin's dish in chocolate. Great atmosphere and gorgeous views!

Great atmosphere in the Brasserie, food was excellent and well price. They remembered it was our wedding anniversary and congratulated us with a specially prepared pudding plate. Lovely views from the terrace across London.
