Beautiful restaurant, only been opened 18 months, lots of covers, fabulous menu, enjoyed the lamb epigramme for starter, followed by the slowly cooked beef for mains that was excellent. Waited on by Faris who was there for our every need.

On the ground floor of the Hilton London Bankside Hotel, OXBO Bankside uses local produce to create flavour-packed European dishes. An elegantly styled dining room William Morris-inspired design makes for a uniquely chic dining destination.
Regional produce such as Cornish monkfish cheeks and Borough Market Portobello mushroom is highlighted in dishes such as duck breast with artichoke purée, mandarin jus and sweet potato crisps. Beautifully presented desserts such as blueberry and fudge bread and butter pudding provide a mouth-watering conclusion to the OXBO Bankside menu.
The William Morris-inspired design at OXBO London features bare brickwork and metal screens to produce a cool, urban ambience which is enhanced by the open kitchen. Once a Victorian distillery, the aptly named Distillery bar features aromatically infused cocktails which celebrate the site’s history.
Paul Bates leads the Hilton Bankside’s innovative restaurant which is a 5-minute walk from Southwark Tube station.

Great environment and very interesting interior. Food was good although service was slow and quite poor.

The restaurant is a large modern room which is not very exciting, the view to to out side is onto a courtyard facing a brick built building. The meal was very disappointing. For starters my wife had the vegetable broth, which looked quite disgusting, I had a lamb dish which looked like a large fish finger, it was very dry and tasteless. For the mains, my wife had the braised steak, which looked so unappetizing and stringy, I had the fish dish, which had a metallic flavor. Neither of us could eat the meal. We were offered a choice from the al a carte menu but we had lost interest by then. We were told that we wouldn't be charged for the food and could have a desert, which we did but that was as bad as the rest of the food. The food is like cafeteria food. However the waiting staff were excellent.

Lovely interior, OK food marred by terrible service. We had to flag someone down every time to order, to get drinks etc.

Lovely restaurant with a very pleasant ambience. Food was wonderful - would especially recommend the baked vanilla custard with rhubarb, divine! The three-course deal was excellent value for money and the staff were courteous and attentive. We'd definitely eat here again.

Impeccable service, and the food was excellent. This was excellent value for money, and worth the walk from Waterloo Station (there are easier ways of getting there :-))
we paid extra for the ribeye whch was cooked perfectly, and was delicious. The entrees were very tasty and beautifully presented, and the desserts very nice, although by that stage we were full and did not do them justice. I would highly recommend this restaurnat, and would not hesitate in taking guests here again.

Great evening. All three courses were delicious, especially the beef.
Friendly staff and really good service - we were looked after from start to finish with no rush to leave at the end of our meal.

Excellent food, service and overall dining experience seated at the Chef's table. Very close to the Globe theatre.
