Nestled in a converted orchid warehouse, Orso – Covent Garden presents a chic, bistro-style retreat. With sleek wood furnishings and pale terracotta walls, the dining room evokes the charm of 1950s Milan.

With a long established reputation for superb Italian cuisine in Covent Garden, the Orso menu offers lovingly-crafted, traditional cuisine, whilst incorporating an exciting twist. Quality, regionally-sourced ingredients are used to create tempting dishes, like roast Tuscan sausage with braised black cabbage, or fresh penne pasta with wilted spinach and gorgonzola.

Within a vibrant area of London, Orso restaurant offers a comfortable atmosphere which is perfect for a leisurely meal, and diners can unwind with a glass from the fine range of well-balanced wines. To round things off, the dessert menu is filled with indulgent delights, like flourless chocolate cake with mascarpone, or pear and caramel tart.

In a quaint setting, Orso Covent Garden is just 6 minutes’ walk from Covent Garden Tube Station, and 2 minutes from the Lyceum Theatre.

Everything was wonderful. We were there the night before running the London Marathon so we were looking for some carbs, all the food was lovely and the service was great!

We were a party of twelve and I can't speak highly enough of the service, from booking the table to paying the bill. We ate from the a la carte menu which was extensive. The food was excellent as so was the wine. The prices reasonable and a thoroughly enjoyable experience. Definitely a well deserved five stars.

It's not as it used to be but is still good. Menu has gone more touristy but still good dishes - the pork belly and the calf's liver good. Booked for 8pm presuming it would be quieter as any theatre group would have gone but a couple of noisy groups still there.

Great food and service, fantastic location for meal before theatre.

Great little Italian restaurant. Lively atmosphere with professional yet personable staff.

Spicy slice was excellent but the antipasti was a little light in terms of content.

Wines were reasonably priced (unfortunately we had three).

Patrons should only leave cash tips and remove the automatic discretionary tip as it does not go to the staff !!!!!!!!!!!

Great food and service. Loved the caprese salad. Arguably a little too much balsamic on the liver for main course. Wonderful deserts. Red wine was good but 14.5% alcohol by volume is too much - would have preferred a lighter wine. Despite these little comments, overall the meal was excellent. We had a really good table, plenty of space for two people.
