We went to One Kew Road for a belated Valentines dinner. We were tempted by the idea of surf and turf with the burger and lobster tail. Unfortunately when we came to order the lobster tails were out of stock, but the menu has a good selection so we weren't too bothered.
The set menu is fantastic value (£25 pp for three courses including a bottle of wine worth £23.50!)
We both had the squid to start, the wagyu burger (a £3 supplement) and I had the brownie dessert while my girlfriend had the crumble. The food was very tasty, pretty typical gastro pub style food. The "free" bottle of wine we had was really good - better than we would expect for the money. The value for money really was excellent.
The only slight downside was the service, which was pretty poor, albeit friendly. Would recommend however on the value for money and tasty food.

The restaurant had a nice gentle ambience, we had a lovely server who was extremely attentive. The food was delicious, an appropriate amount of time between courses so we were not rushed. All in all a great experience and i will be returning!

Lovely light and airy restaurant. The service was excellent. All the staff were very attentive and smiley. We all had the chicken salad which was delicious - very short wait. Puddings were great too.
