Found on the 32nd floor of London’s skyline-dominating Shard building, Rainer Becker's Oblix offers his signature style of upscale, sophisticated, urban dining. A flash open kitchen, complete with mesmerising spit roast and sizzling charcoal grill, brings a touch of theatre to the clean-cut, minimalist dining room.

Alongside succulent meats from the rotisserie and supremely fresh seafood dishes, the Oblix menu features a range of luxury meat cuts finished on the josper grill. Enjoy dishes like lamb chops with harissa and yoghurt, grilled Dover sole with brown butter or Porterhouse steak to share. Diners can be directed through the staggering wine list at the interactive sommelier station: the first of its kind in London. Choose from cherry-picked international bottles, and peruse some of the world’s most-prized vintages.

The super-slick bar at Oblix in London offers a more relaxed vibe, with guests treated to express deli options and decadent weekend brunches, while a visionary cocktail menu offers mixes designed to match the food.

In one of London’s most sought-after settings, Oblix restaurant at The Shard is a 3-minute walk from London Bridge stations.

Oblix operates a smart dress code. Gym trainers, running shoes, flip flops, sports wear, and baseball caps are not allowed. Please note any decision regarding the suitability of a guest's appearance will be entirely at the discretion of the management.

Stunning views of London, particularly after sunset, Food very average and although priced at Fine dining is a long way short of that standard.
At times during the Dinner it was probably like dining in the middle of a "Kodak" advert whilst everyone took selfies. You would have to go for the view and not the dining experience if you did not want to be disappointed.

Very disappointed. We had to be moved because the tables around us were so loud we couldn't have any conversations between us. After that we have been forgotten the service was awful. Had the lobster for main course which we had to wait a long time and it was cold the side dish came after we were half way through the main course. Went home hungry.

I understand that it is expensive to operate situated on the 32nd floor of prime London property and that the views are excellent ,I can understand some premium pricing. But the prices in relation to the quality of the food are extortionate. The Dover Sole at £38.50 was flaccid and tasteless. It was possibly stale. It was grossly oversalted -presumably to give it some taste. The soft shelled crab starter was minimal in size and not too pleasant. No bread or rolls were offered as is usual and ordinary side dishes at maximum pricing were extra. I noted the service charge was 13.5%. However the staff were helpful and pleasant and I suspect had been trained to be pleasant to disguise the shortcomings of the kitchen. I eat at quite expensive restaurants; this experience was upsetting and disappointing.

It was a truly memorable way to celebrate my partners fiftieth birthday, staff were lovely, food was incredible, the setting breathtaking.

It's was an amazing experience with a beautiful atmosphere. I went with my partner to celebrate their birthday which was a perfect choice. The food was delicious! I would highly recommend the lobster and lamb chops. The mac and cheese was nice however it may not look like what you expect (apple crumble). The only downside I would say was the staff responded rather slow when their was a confusion with our bill and when I ordered a birthday dessert for my partner I waited a long time for them to bring it out. Overall the food was nice however, I have tasted the same quality food for a much lower price, you are also paying for the beautiful view! Expect a high bill!

We loved the whole experience, especially glad that we had a table by the window. The food was delicious, no particular favourite, but loved the scallops

We had a lovely meal with excellent service.

It was absolutely amazing, with amazing atmospher, it was just unfortunate we couldn't get a window seat but other than that a beautiful experience.
The lamb chops where a bit on the salty side with the mac and cheese needing a bit more cheese.
Table spacing wasn't great as me and my guest had to deal with a larger party with kids who kept bumping into the back of our chairs.
But the atmosphere allowed us to over look that.
We noticed how the dress code was not adhered to by all.
