Light and airy, friendly rooms with richly decorated touches and lovingly composed flower arrangements are all vital to the atmosphere portrayed at the Nymphenburger Hof, in Munich. Austrian and international seasonal cuisine with a good variety on the wine menu complete the scene. On the menu, for example, you can find exceptional Almochsen (locally produced and certified Austrian meat) fillet with a herb crust pastry with buttered leeks in a Burgundy wine sauce, and rosemary covered potatoes, Royal gilthead sea bream, with lobster tagliatelle, stewed tomatoes and chilled string vegetables, or semi-frozen grapefruit coated in chocolate on a pepper and blood orange salad. As an additional service for its guests, the Nymphenburger Hof offers a daily changing lunch time menu. With the owner, Andreas Derler, personally running the Nymphenburger Hof, at various points in the week there is decent piano music to round up the cultural experience. The restaurant garden is a real highlight, where, when the weather is good, you can relax and enjoy the wonderful laid-back atmosphere right in the middle of Munich.
