Crafting cosmopolitan British cuisine with quaint Cornish accents, Northbank offers sleek city dining. Offsetting the crisp, contemporary dining room, a bright and breezy al fresco terrace offers picture-perfect views of the River Thames.

A refined selection of dishes comes courtesy of Jason Marchant, formerly of Claridge's. Rich, hearty flavours with a Cornish influence are weaved through the Northbank menu, featuring favourites like pot-roasted chicken with Cornish mead, rump of Cornish lamb with sautéed kidneys, & Camel Valley sparkling jelly & ice cream to finish.

Spanning from silky Cornish real ales and mead to eclectic New York-style cockails, the Northbank in London bar offers a fashionable selection. A chic bar menu also offers delicious sharing platters and time-honoured British classics.

A smart yet understated setting, Northbank Blackfriars features cosy leather booths, retro décor and a super-slick bar. Mansion House Tube Station is a 6-minute walk away.

Both my friend and I enjoyed a very enjoyable meal, beautifully served. We decided not to go for a starter, but you kindly gave us a small bowl of delicious soup. The catch of the day was superb. I would like to have had just one or two more vegetarian/fish choices, but overall the meal was delicious and the staff very attentive and courteous. I would definitely recommend your restaurant and thanks for taking Tastecard too.

Absolutely fantastic meal and I will definitely be returning. I had the catch of the day (pan fried brill with mussels and lobster bisque) followed by the pavlova with rhubarb. Both courses were exceptional, packed with flavour and perfectly balanced. I don't often eat desserts as, as much as I have a sweet tooth, I'm often disappointed or left feeling too full. However the pavlova was absolutely devine. My companion had a vienetta dessert with honeycombe which also looked delicious. For those who love a good G&T I would also recommend. The waitress was also very helpful and attentive but gave us plenty of time when we were clearly busy chatting.
Also great setting for views across the Thames and Millenium bridge. Can't wait to return. I also had a Tastecard which offered 2 for 1 on the A la Carte menu which made it great value.

This restaurant is a hidden gem although not hidden at all because it is on the Thames Path beside the Millenium Bridge with views across the rive of the Globe Theatre. Food was very good quality and reasonably priced. Service was exceptional, very helpful and attentive without being in your face.

We were the only ones in the restaurant at first but the staff were incredibly attentive. We dined using the tastecard offer and there were plenty of dishes to choose from. Food was excellent, very filling and using the discount made it extremely reasonable, it was a perfect date venue
