No.77 in Cambridgeshire brings authentic Thai food to a quirky village pub. Decorated with upcycled vintage furniture, sparkling chandeliers and unusual wall hangings, No.77 in Caxton is a gastropub with style.

The menu at No.77 is brimming with fresh, aromatic Thai flavours. Thai curry, stir fry and noodle dishes dominate, including sea bass fillet with chili, basil, garlic and sticky rice, and pad Thai with roasted chili and peanuts.

Little ones aren’t left out, with a ‘Tiny Thai’ menu serving child-friendly portions of staple dishes, including sweet and sour chicken with rice or crispy noodles with Thai-style gravy and seasonal vegetables. The cosy bar also boasts a range of signature cocktails, local and world beers and quality wines.

Blending quality Asian food with unique décor, No.77 still retains the charm of a traditional village pub. In the Cambridgeshire village of Caxton, it is a 25-minute drive from Cambridge city centre.

My husband and I had a lovely meal. The food was very tasty and great value for money, unfortunately we had no room for dessert. The atmosphere was buzzing. A lovely restaurant to have on the door step.

Hi Loved the whole experience great service and lovely decor, delicious food! My only negatives were there was a very strong smell of Detol when we arrived, though I did forgive this, as we were there early at 12pm, however I would definitely preferred not to have had this odor there. The basil mojito is something none of us will order again, it was in a glass too large for the drink which made it very diluted in flavour, so much so we thought the alcohol may had been forgotten! Finally having the proprietor fly up to the table still wearing her outdoor coat and asking if everything was ok, was a bit of a surprise considering our young waiter had been very attentive providing a great service, and we did not at the time know who she was!

We will all be returning though as these are minor points only for your information, wishing you all the best and see you again soon.

This was my second visit with work colleagues. The food did not disappoint. The options for vegetarians are really good and I thoroughly enjoyed by thai green vegetable curry. I have already recommended you to a number of my friends and intend to come back with family at some point. I think last time we came the lights were on over our table and this made the restaurant seem warmer and more welcoming than it did yesterday, as it can be quite a dark room, even though it was a sunny day. This did not detract from our experience though and all enjoyed their food.

It's always a good experience dining here, but I can't help but feel the food has gone "off the boil" slightly. I think it's because the dishes aren't as hot as they used to be. The food is still good quality, but not really that much better than I could do at home. But in terms of service and ambiance this is a great place to eat. It was very busy but we didn't have to wait too long for our food. It's not overpriced either.
