Homely, rustic and sophisticated, Nico’s Bistro & Bar sits on the banks of the River Ness. Hearty French food joins British classics, on a menu that is packed with seasonal ingredients.
Traditional French favourites on the Nico’s menu include magret of duck with dauphinoise potatoes, moules marinières with fries, and a classic coq-au-vin. Mediterranean flavours abound in the likes of aubergine and ricotta moussaka, and vegetable tagine with herbed couscous, whilst classic British offerings complete the menu, including steak and ale pie, and battered haddock with tartare sauce.
Timelessly elegant, Nico’s restaurant is simply decorated with dark wood furnishings and classic prints. With a wood-burning fire, the bar is a snug hideaway where diners can sample one of the city’s widest selections of malt whisky.
In the shadow of Inverness Castle, Nico’s Bistro & Bar is a short stroll from the attractions of the city centre. Inverness Train Station is a 14-minute walk away.
