Not at all pleased with Newhall Farm, staff not very friendly or helpful, food o.k. no pizza available for the kids, I had to ask twice for a glass of water, not acceptable. never were we asked if everything was o.k. might I add it was very quiet so its not as if they were busy, I will not be going to Newhall Farm again unless it improves greatly.

Steak was cooked med rare as requested, the meal and service were excellent. Good value. Wine glass was quite small wine would be better served in larger glass but for the money we paid this is a small thing so can't complain. Highly recommend to others.

We visited the Newhall as a party of four, we live very local (within walking distance). The evening was very enjoyable and at a reasonable total cost. The drinks including the guest beers were very enjoyable and an enjoyable evening was had, we also live local to the Winding Wheel which is supposedly more of a drinkers pub but the beers are very limited (occasionally no bitters and definitely no mild beers being available) it is very confusing why premises which are mainly eating houses have a better selection of beers than premises that are drinking houses with food being secondary. This is not the first time I have complained about the service and the availability of beers at the Wheel but obviously Marstons are not interested in my opinion regarding the premises. The fortunate thing being we are very pleased with the offerings and courtesies shown at The Newall Farm.

Me and my husband visit Newhall every week, it is an excellent place to eat and relax after a hard day at work. The food is always very good and the staff are always welcoming even though they see us regular. What I like is how clean the tables are and most of all, the cutlery, it's my pet hate, dirty cutlery I never visit again.
