Always outstanding and welcoming service. As a local I have visited a number of times over the last year, New Years Day at any restaurant can be a gamble for service but again these guys did not disappoint. Food again tremendous, I have not been disappointed yet and to be honest not sure I will with such a great front and back of house operating.
Try and get a window table for the beautiful views, if not you'll still not be disappointed with the ambiance.

This was our first visit and a great find. Starters thought to desert all our food was excellent and we can highly recommend the rhubarb and ginger cheesecake! The staff are very welcoming and friendly and we look forward to our next chance to visit.

Service was good beer was good, food was good we all cleared our plates, but the portions are small and the cost top end for a pub, after a meal out you should not be going home feeling peckish

Had an excellent meal. Thought the portion size was excellent apart from only having 6 parmentier potatoes each with our duck.the meal took 40 minutes to arrive and had to ask twice for bottled water.
I have eaten here on 3 previous occasions and this was not upto normal service standard.

I celebrated my wife's 89th birthday with two other members of the family. Although rather noisy with very noisy children we all liked the food. The only that put us off was the sight of two dogs.
