This was our second visit to Muriel's Kitchen. We loved the decor & seating arrangements and the staff are all so incredibly friendly and helpful, even when they're rushed off their feet. As a vegetarian it was great to have several options.

Sandwiches and superfood salads are served throughout the day, while family-recipe mains include chicken & peach curry & fish pie.

Served on a miniature picnic bench, afternoon tea at Muriel’s in London is filled with classic sweets and savouries, and cakes and puds can be enjoyed on their own for a post-lunch treat. We had some bites in this place with a couple of friends. The service was good, the food nice and tasty. Nice milkshakes as well. The only problem was the music, it was too loud and we couldn't talk to each other in a regular tone.

Had breakfast here. I had a Popeyes breakfast and it hit the spot well. My wife went for a bacon sandwich and there were happy to switch the menu options around for her to make up for her dislike of eggs. Lovely decor, friendly staff and atmosphere, pretty good value for money. Good job Muriel's kitchen.

Overall it was a pleasant experience. We had afternoon tea. It was fine but not great. The scones were pretty heavy, the sandwiches OK but nothing exciting. The rest of the cake selection was a little strange as most cakes there were only one of each. The service was OK but we had to ask for milk for our tea twice. Pretty restaurant, very busy even on a Sunday afternoon. Glad we went but we would not rush back.

    Warm and welcoming staff.
Delicious food: we had the pancakes with berries + eggs Benedict royal + sticky bacon and eggs (somewhat like a English breakfast twist).

Afternoon tea menu was great. Music was really loud which made chatting over tea a challenge. Service slow to begin with but once we eventually were it was good.
