Amazing restaurant in terms of decor and atmosphere. Food is good. Wine menu is overpriced and not great. Felt like we were rushed through service.

We visited Momo for the first time on Wednesday 8/03. It was my boyfriend's birthday and we enjoyed it so much! First of all, the decor is amazing - my boyfriend used to live in Morocco and myself in Egypt, and we both were really impressed; it looks so authentic and exotic, everything from the stained glass windows, down to the furniture and the amazing plants! Definitely thats what makes the ambience really unique there.
The food is excellent - simple ingredients, yet interesting combinations, balanced portion size and really amazing flavours.
Most of all, the place - although very elegant - is not pretentious. The service is great too, everyone seems genuine, friendly and attentive, we were not rushed to leave (it happens in some places), quite the opposite we were really looked after, we were given good recommendations, the waiting time was fine. On top of that my friend was treated for his birthday, which was completely unexpected and a nice touch - you didn't have to do it at all, its really appreciated! I really cant't find a flaw in the whole experience. I was over the moon, and it wasn't even my birthday :)

Beautiful interior, fantastic waiting staff who recommended the lamb shoulder sharer for 2 which was delicious. Perhaps the nicest part overall that as it was my girlfriends birthday, when bringing out the desert stopped and put some Moroccan happy birthday music on! Great experience and can't wait to come back again

This place had everything that I could ask for a crakin good date night. Live band, Shisha, Great food with great service. The lamb sholuder was cooked to perfection.
One of the most relaxed and fun restarunts I have been to in London thus far.
Would defo recommend to freinds and family.

We booked via the Timeout magazine and received a confirmation by e-mail. We then received an e-mail that the booking should be confirmed by credit card and a phone number. In the restaurant we decided to order instead of a main course four starters and wait to see what next.
We were approached by the manager (?) that told us we needed to order a main course because the computer was stuck if no main course was entered. A bit of a strange request, also because this was supposedly mentioned in our e-mail confirmation. We checked the e-mail and nothing of the kind.
We felt really pressured by the way it was brought as if we were no serious customers. Also our waiter was clearly embarrassed.
The food was wonderful and made the everning worth our wile, but next time we will book next door. This to make sure we have the freedom to order whatever we prefer that night!
