Fantastic meal at Momo. Myself and my wife were both very impressed with the food and the setting. The Lamb Kofta was full of flavour and the desserts were sublime. We will definately visit again.

Great food, tastiest couscous in years! The place is beautifully decorated and has an intimate atmosphere. The staff very kind. The only negative point goes to the long time we had to wait between starters and main dish. And also the music was a bit too loud and make difficult to have a conversation.

    Excellent food, and attentive staff.

We were a little discomfited on arrival as the only choices of table for the meze menu (which the website told us was the only option) were in the 'café' venue near a door which did not autoclose. As it was cold outside there was a constant current of cold air when either staff or customers failed to close it on entry/exit. When we mentioned this, the waiting staff moved us to a table further away.
Music at the start was pleasant and appropriate. Later in the evening we experienced what may best be called trainee dj in da house as more modern music was tried, abandoned, retried, abandoned again - all at various volumes.

When we went to the restaurant to tell them about the door and ask about why only the meze option was available, we were told sympathetically that there had in fact been spaces in the restaurant, they could not understand why the website indicated to the contrary, and that we should telephone in future.

Cramped tables, rushed service, food expensive for what it was. A disappointing experience.

Excellent food and very nice experience overall. I would totally recommend this place and I will definitely go back and will most probably order exactly the same food as I LOVED it. I had the grilled sardine skewers and the lamb tagine which was one of the best meals I've ever had. Sooo tasty! I shared the argan oil chocolate mousse for dessert, and it was a great option - very delicate taste and great for sharing!
My only down side is that the waitress recommended me to order a side as my tagine was in theory coming with no sides, however I did not eat my side as it did come with lots of dried fruits, onions and almonds, which were the perfect companion for the lamb. The service was a little bit slow at the beginning (our drinks and nibbles took quite long) but then the food came nicely timed.

too expensive and too rich a menu. we felt sick by the end of the meal. Champagne by the glass was not available. Staff was nice, and the main course was very good, but it wasn't the restaurant experience you would recommend. Less is more sometimes I had also advised that it was my wife's birthday, while it was kind of them to bring a candle with sweets, it was long after we finished deserts, so it was too late to eat anything else.

Excellent afternoon tea, service a little slow and when we asked for extra tea we just got boiled water which was very poor! Even so, we enjoyed it abd we will return.
