Would be nice to have more choose of wines. Quite cramped in and small tables.

In the metropolitan bustle of Liverpool Street, Miyako serves elegant sushi in this serene hangout. Bamboo-style panels and glossy black benches ooze urban cool, whilst Japanese trinkets offer an authentic touch.

Expertly crafted sashimi and hand-rolled sushi are offered on the Miyako menu. Diners can select an assortment of sublimely fresh fish to sample a variety of textures and flavours at Miyako, with choices including tuna, scallops and squid. Renowned for its tasty bento range, Miyako London serves boxes loaded with fresh, flavoursome ingredients, like beef, salmon or chicken teriyaki.

A twist on quintessentially British afternoon tea sees traditional Japanese cakes and Miyako sweet treats served alongside rare loose leaf teas. For a traditional tipple, Miyako Liverpool Street serves native chilled sake, or refreshing plum wine.

Housed within the exclusive Andaz Hotel, Miyako restaurant offers nutritious cuisine in a chic, minimalist setting. Liverpool Street Station is a 2-minute walk away.

I quite enjoyed the food and the presentation and service but recognise that Miyako is not for uni students on a budget like myself, I highly recommend it for people who don't mind spending a lot of cash for a small portion of food, but if you're on a budget, do not go here!
