We had afternoon tea. One of us was diabetic and much appreciated the wonderful selection of fruit. Lovely sandwiches, scones and cakes too.
Mirrored ceiling and walls were an unusual feature and there was great ambience with the background music. The staff were very helpful and attentive.

Tucked away in the heart of Rosewood London, the intimate Mirror Room in Holborn is a jewel box of a dining room with a living room atmosphere. Executive Chef Amandine Chaignot uses exceptional ingredients from producers across Britain and France to create an intricate, imaginative menu.

With supremely sourced ingredients, the Mirror restaurant menu features meticulously crafted seasonal dishes such as fillet of venison with celeriac and confit quince, and nettle and mascarpone ravioli with fresh walnuts. Indulge in a treat from the patisserie counter, and to complement the expert-crafted dishes, the resident sommelier can assist with wine pairings from the list of organic and biodynamic wines.

Reflecting its name, mirrored walls and ceilings envelop the room, complementing the bold yet classy adornments of crystal, silverware and Limoges china. Afternoon tea is also served at Mirror, with a selection of fresh sandwiches, loose-leaf teas and delectable creations, both modern and classic, served from a silver trolley.

Mirror Room at the Rosewood London Hotel in Holborn, London is just a 3-minute walk from Holborn Tube Station.

The whole experience was fabulous, from the moment we entered the mirror room we were treated exceptionally. The staff were polite, informative and attentive.
The canapés were unusual and superb. You have to try the smoked artichokes, which arrive in a foggy glass dome!! The menu was explained using a tray of relevant vegetables/raw spices which added to the experience.
The choice for food was very different, from salsify tagliatelle to beautiful scallops cooked perfectly, to duck unusually seasoned and absolutely deliciious.
One of the waiters was a trained chef and able to provide knowledge on the menu which was astonishing.
For a special meal, or just a different dining experience, the mirror room is a must. I would definitely go again . We went with family, but the atmosphere is so intimate you could go with friends or just as a couple and have a very individual experience. Great evening, superb food. It's not inexpensive, but worth the money! A magical evening!! Thank you.

Our dining experience at the Mirror Room was simply fantastic. The atmosphere was wonderful. It is wonderful to have a classy and relaxed atmosphere that is quiet enough to be able to enjoy conversation throughout the evening. The service was simply spectacular. My wife and I were visiting from the United States, and had heard that the food was wonderful so we gave it a try and are extremely glad we did. Francisco, who is the Assistant Manager of the Mirror Room took incredible care of us and made sure that every aspect of our experience was off the chart. The suggestion of wine perfectly met our pallet and request. The smoked artichoke hearts were decadent, as was the Duck and Cod.

My sincere thanks to Francisco and the team at The Mirror Room. truly a wonderful evening.
