The Rosewood Hotel is one of the most stunning hotels I've seen in London. From arrival you feel very important & from then on are looked after with finesse. The attention to detail is incredible.

Afternoon tea was perfect, delicate, delicious and detailed, we felt spoilt by the staff nothing was too much trouble. The 'art' inspired patisseries were explained in detail and tasted as good as they sounded. It was expensive but thoroughly worth it as a treat for six ladies who need a break from the world.

We had such a wonderful time we moved to the cocktail bar in the hotel-Scarfes where we stayed all night till 1230am. The service in the cocktail bar was excellent. A perfect day & night for my me & my friends.

Beautiful room and location, shame about the food. I took an American guest who was greatly impressed by the look of the Mirror Room. He was not very hungry so ordered a club sandwich, and I ordered the sole. We had still water which was served at room temperature (no offer of ice) in odd little metal beakers. The sole was in small pieces, overcooked, and therefore a rubbery texture. Nice vegetables and sauce but a tiny portion. The club sandwich was similarly tiny with next to no filling. A huge disappointment for both of us. To cap it all this meagre fare cost a shade under £60. I will not be going back.

Not the best I have been to and for a 5 star hotel I was expecting more. The dietary requirements were not adhered to despite stating them when booking and reminding them when we arrived, they still got it wrong. Very apologetic and quick to correct but still three times and still wrong! Staff were attentive but not quite listening, when one of the party said no to water they still got it etc. Sandwiches and tea unlimited and you certainly needed that, they were the smallest sandwiches I have ever seen on an afternoon tea. The cakes were one of each variety and as there were three of us we found that to all have a wee taster we had to divide them into three with one tiny mouthful each.
On finishing we were about to ask for the bill when we become uncomfortably aware that 3 of the staff were standing just behind us talking about why we hadn't left yet, left us feeling very uncomfortable. The waiter said he had chocolates for us to take away and he would put them in a bag.... one chocolate for each of us!!

Overall, a very expensive afternoon tea (£over 70.00 with fizz) that in our opinion was no better than the cheaper hotels and left you wondering why you did pay that much when you could have had a better experience at the Waldorf or Savoy for less money!

A beautiful and sumptuous restaurant located within a 5star hotel. It really is a mirror room. Pick up one of the coffee table books for light entertainement. A history of New York's jazz scene in the roaring twenties is particularly entertaining. Friendly, courteous and smartly dressed staff always make for a memorable experience. The mirror room delivered In abundance. The menu is short and uncomplicated. The main course was divine. Top notch cooking by experienced chefs no doubt. Try the roast duck tangliatelli or their take on chicken and new potatoes. Their piece de resistance is thier wine selection. Better experienced than described.

We had a lovely afternoon tea - very creative and tasty (maybe though a tiny bit too sweet for us).

I'd not heard of the Rosewood, let alone the Mirror Room. It and the art tea we enjoyed were exquisite, with absolutely sensational cakes and parties inspired by the selected artists, and served by an enthusiastic, professional, friendly and extremely knowledgeable team.

Beautiful location and Hotel. Had afternoon Tea which was nice but not the best I have had.
Service was a little slow but I would go again as the ambiance was amazing.

Had an amazing afternoon at the Mirror Room the food was delicious and the staff were attentive without being intrusive. My only disappointment was that all the fabulous cake creations (which I thoroughly enjoyed) were not suitable for my vegetarian friend and I had booked the afternoon tea as her Christmas present. I felt very guilty indulging in these fabulous dessert while she had the less impressive looking alternatives for vegetarians.
