Set in an extended medieval building known locally as The Plough, with large al fresco terrace for sun-drenched summer dining, and ample parking space, Miller & Carter – Ruislip specialises in delicious, hand-cut, 28-day aged steaks – all carefully sourced from sustainable British farms. With leather banquettes, exposed-brick walls & soft golden lighting, the steakhouse enjoys a relaxed, friendly ambience.

The Miller & Carter menu is led by hand-cut, 30-day aged steaks, all carefully sourced from sustainable British & Irish farms, and expertly cooked. Favourite cuts span from a deliciously tender grain-fed sirloin, aged for 50 days for a rich, buttery flavour, to a luxurious sharing chateaubriand. Other Miller & Carter signature dishes include smoky barbecue ribs with seasoned fries & dressed slaw, and lemon & rosemary lamb rump served with dauphinoise potatoes, sautéed exotic mushrooms & tenderstem broccoli.

To finish, sweet indulgences include Miller’s chocolate orange: a shimmering golden globe with ganache and orange toffee. The Miller & Carter cellar is brimming with drinks designed to complement the menu, including chilled draught and bottled beers, crafted cocktails and an impressive wine list of rich reds and sparkling wines.

Miller & Carter – Ruislip is a 3-minute drive from Ruislip Tube Station.

We had a lovely time. The service was fantastic our waitress answered our questions with enthusiasm and kept us informed regarding when each course would arrive. The food was lovely with no problems re how the steak was cooked.

Booked a table for 8:45, didn't get seated til 9:30, the waitress Gail was great however the overall experience wasn't and although they compensated us in prosecco not all the party was drinking. I've been before a few times and it's been amazing but this was for my mums birthday treat as she has never been before and it was a bit of a let down, hopefully the experience won't cloud her jusfgement one the place and she might return.

As two women we were given a table by the door which was noisy and away from the gaze of the waiter. Good food almost spoilt by the poor service. However, having complained about the table and the fact we'd waited nearly 10 mins to get a menu we were moved to a better location and the second waiter did a much better job

We had booked a table for 7.15 served drinks after waiting 15 minuites wait it was busy. Took about another half an hour to be served with starter and another hour to be served with main meal food was good when it finally arrived but it was disappointing to have to wait so long between courses it was our first visit not sure if we would return.
