Food is excellent. Waitress very helpful however manager at the pass area was quite rude. Criticism is that the table by the kitchen is situated in the wrong place. The lights are far too bright and the noise is deafening also the balustrades are coated with a thick layer of dust. This is not pleasant when eating food.

Found the barman very rude and food was average on this visit, our waitress Sarah was very helpful and apologetic. Won't go back anytime soon! Was very disappointing as was my daughter's birthday,

From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel welcome. Steve on reception has exceptional customer service skills. Hannah our waitress was calm (on a busy night) & friendly. Disappointed that the chosen chicken dish was unavailable. Unexpected at 7.00pm. The alternative choices were delicious & well presented.
The whole experience was very enjoyable & the party would gladly return.

Waitress was great, she knew the menu well, she helped to decide on drinks and sauces and told us about what was unavailable that day before ordering, also checked everything was ok and asked if there was anything else we needed multiple times, food was really nice and was overall a very good experience

We was quite disappointed with the length of time we had to wait for our drinks and starters we waited st least 15 mins to get our drinks and at least 25 minutes for our starters we was told our waitress was busy so the person at the checking in desk ended up taking out order

We had a very disappointing A A disappointing experience.
My initial drink was served with a long hair in it which was not discovered until the first mouthful. As the waitress was present at the table ( a rare occurance) it was presented to her and she offered a replacement drink which I accepted. The starters were calamari which came fairly promptly and were excellent. We had asked for our salad wedges to be served with the main meal ( rib eye and sirloin) and so had what seemed like a very long wait for the meal to arrive.
The rib eye was excellent the sirloin was dreadful. Half of the steak was gristle and fat only the centre was edible. We told the waitress after about 15 mins (the next time she appeared). Again she offered a replacement but by then the edible past had been eaten and my wife didn't want a second.
We were then asked if we wanted a desert we said yes and the menu arrived promptly.
We then waited and waited and waited .....
After about 20 minutes we decided to give up and I went to the bar to ask for the bill. After another 3 or 4 minutes it arrived at the table complete with an additional drink that had not been ordered. I quickly pointed this out a new bill was produced and we paid and left vowing to try somewhere new for our next meal. Ironically our waitress was being shadowed by a new member of staff : heaven knows what she thought?

Bar area clean and welcoming as was restaurant ,waitress very friendly and helpful food was nicely cooked and was still hot when it came to the table ,if I have to be picky don't like tables with long bench like seats difficult for some people to get in and out of plus you have to disturb others if you need to get out but on the whole very enjoyable experience

We often visit this restaurant, They serve excellent steaks and accompaniments. Their range of cocktails is oddly limited, though. Not even a Manhattan!
