Very pleasant venue , parking a little difficult , service very good and attentive pleasant staff !
A little bit difficult to get the server to understand requirements that varied from the menu - but was achieved after a while !
We were a couple dining and we shared the squid to start , which is a dish we regularly have as we dine out a lot , and the price was reasonably cheaper than other restaurants but the quantity was boardering on being a joke as there was less than a mouthful each !
Why do all these places assume that everyone wants skinny fries , what happened to chunky chip's? My partner went for the sweet potato fries and the only way to describe them was Cremated as well as the root vegetables !
However the rest of the food was fine !

I come here often but this time I wasn't impressed steak was too overdone so had to wait for around 15 mins for a new one my friend had pretty much finished eating in that time. Pepper was then put all over the chips and steak which doesn't normally happen and I don't like pepper it was really over powering. We weren't offered any other drinks. As I say normally everything is great but disappointing this time.

I felt the Brookman Park restaurant has too many tables with not enough staff to cope. The Chefs cannot keep up with the orders. My friends warned us we may be delayed with being seated but to our surprise we where not. The sad thing was it took over 4 hours to have our dinner in all. 40 minutes to get a coffees/tea with one desert. Very poor.
The staff where very helpfully but seemed to be rushing around and apologising for delays.Such a shame. We would have had more to drink but we only got asked twice all evening even though trying to get the attention of waiters.
We where out celebrating my friends Birthday. I feal let down considering how expensive it is to eat at this restaurant and not to be given the overall experience one would expect.

I've been to Miller & Carter at Brookmans Park on a couple of occasions now, and each time has been superb. The atmosphere and staff have always been welcoming and friendly, with fab food and service too. Plenty of choice on the menu, and food cooked to your requirements. It was at my last visit on the 18th February 2017, that 2 tables with couples on seated next to me and my partner, complained strongly about their food, and service. I can assure you that on that same night, I could not fault our food and service. I spoke to your duty manager that night before leaving at the end of our evening, and commended both himself and our waiter "George" for giving us such a welcoming and quality evening. I have also written a letter of thanks and commendation to "George" at your Brookmans Park restaurant expressing my gratitute for his service on the 18th, as the other 2 tables near us gave him a very hard time that night. "George" is a credit to your Company and we'll definately be back to dine with again.

We have been coming to Miller and Carter for about three years now and every time we've been we have thoroughly enjoyed ourselves apart from this Sunday 12th February. We were disappointed with several of the dishes, the first being the nachos starters then the bacon and cheese burger ( it was quite small) the onion loaf side was soggy and my daughters sweet potatoes fries were not very warm at all. The three desserts didn't seem to be there best either.
However, the rest of the food was very good and the service was excellent.

Perhaps it was just an off day, we will definately be coming back in the near future.
