Thursday Steak night, although the resteraunt was very busy, we were shown to our table on time we chose the £22.95 three course menu we were please with our starter and my husband with his steak meal. I chose half a roast chicken, which was served with the bones taken out, I found this off putting. I was also disappointed in the lack of choice for healthy options. I would have preferred a choice of Potatoe is - baked Potatoe. Also I would have like a salad, even if I had to pay for it as aside order. I do feel that most restaurants are moving to wards a mix and match theme, which would have incorporated my choices with a main meal. To end the I meal , I would have chosen the cheese board instead of anything sugary. But that wasn't an option. there was also no house wine to choose from so we just got the cheapest , which at £ 16 something We did not consider cheap! As there was no cheese board I chose an Irish coffee, Alas no cream. Would we go. There again? If we had of been mystery diners what would your guess Be?

Been to m+c about 15 times in 5 years(Aughton and parbold)every time gone home fully satisfied, never had to complain about anything,it used to be classed as dear and therefore we would go to for a treat but now you've kept the prices the same and pubs are catching up with your prices, one more thing mushrooms in melted cheese was outstanding,so much so I make them at home now, well done everyone, food is delicious

Went with 2friends and my husband and as usual the staff service and meals were excellent. The restruant was busy and the staff were always in control as there were lots of children (toddlers) up and about. We went into the lounge after our meal and just sat and had coffees and chatted but nobody came up and said that we had to leave because we had already eaten, which was very nice (we've been to a restruant nearby and been told we only have the table for an hour which I think is a bit naughty when the place was empty)
