Boasting a quiet location overlooking the Mill Pond and River Wey, The Mill at Elstead is a pleasant spot for a British meal and drink. The venue bears the trademark of its previous life as a 17th century mill with its wooden beams and water wheel.

Spanning from salads and juicy burgers to piping-hot, stuffed-full pies, The Mill's menu is lovingly prepared by the talented resident chefs. Ingredients are sourced from across the British Isles, and meats and daily-fresh fish catches can be traced back directly to sustainable, trusted suppliers. Choose from dishes including goat’s curd & sage crostini or chicken, ham & leek pie.

The Mill pub also presents a renowned drinks list, featuring award-winning ales including Fuller’s most well-known brew, London Pride. Fine wines, premium spirits and soft drinks are also on offer.

Diner at The Mill Surrey are offered fresh, well-kept ales and the pub also boasts a Fuller's Master Cellarman Status award.

Booking very easy. Location of The Mill was stunning. Service started well, and the food was well presented. We had Sunday roasts. My daughters was a small version, and we had a full version. The only difference seemed to be one slice of meat less and she had peas in her accompanying vegetables. The difference in price though was £7 !! The roasts were £15.95 upwards, desserts were £5 or £6. The overall cost was high, but it was my 50th birthday! Our main complaint was that after the main course, we had to search and search for further service,; dessert menu, ordering dessert, bill etc. Not happy by then, so no tip!

First visit to pub on way to daughters location in nearby Hindhead. Pleasantly surprised by the location that was enhanced by the beautiful weather.
Reserved table for two was in an ideal location looking out on the weir, service was excellent by efficient and polite staff. Menus were good with a fair variety for selection at reasonable prices , as was the sweet selections.
Will definitely return again in the future

A very nice evening, good food nice atmosphere. Local to me and always a beautiful setting. Only comment to make on a negative side, the young waitress could have been a bit more attentive. It took a while to attract someone to order coffee.

Stunning pub in a stunning location.
Visited midweek for lunch with friends. Our party included our babies - 3 under 1 year old & 2 toddlers. The staff were fantastic & could not do enough to help us. We even had use of a large room at the back which was ideal as loads of space for highchairs & strollers.
The food was excellent & a great menu choice including light lunch options.
I had the chicken, leek & ham pie which was delicious. One of the best pies I've had! It was served with green veg & mashed potato.
The area where the pub is set is so tranquil - there were ducks sunbathing on the grass verge when I pulled up to park.
I can imagine this is a very popular spot during the Summer months!
Would highly recommend & will definitely be back.
Ideal for families, also lovely for couples; as the inside is made up of lots of different rooms & dining areas.

Lovely setting with a working water mill wheel. Restaurant area was lovely and cosy with a real fire. Food and service was very good.

Staff and ambience good. Good choices on menu. Slow after placing order. BUT safety wise narrow yellow strips indicatin SHALLOW step down is potentially dangerous to elderly & Young. The step depth is very shallow taking people by surprise. I jarred my back on first such step. No staff to help me but a customer came to help me. Maybe am supercritical living in a tourist area!
