In the on-board restaurant on the S/S Drottningholm in Stockholm, traditional Swedish fare is confronted with modern cuisine in its two cosy dining rooms, one on the top deck and one on the main deck.
Serving archipelago classics such as pickled herring, Beef Rydberg and halibut on the S/S Drottningholm menu, the boat also serves a host of other popular updated dishes. With regional produce at its core, the dishes are served with a suitable wine recommendation. The on-board restaurateur Peter Karlsson has devised a menu based on Swedish cuisine, drawing from each point of the compass.
The drinks menu on the S/S Drottningholm has generous offerings of red and white wine, many of which are organic and have been handpicked from certain vineyards in the USA. The restaurant S/S Drottningholm also offers champagne, aperitifs, spirits and other drinks.
The S/S Drottningholm is one of Strömma’s best-preserved 100-year-old boats, and this classical steamboat sets sail from Stadshusbron in Stockholm.
